It took me over an hour to sort out the channels in non freesat mode. Is there any other way ?? Most hummys have the possibility to sort the channel list on the PC and then shove it back to the box.

maybe Bob_cat can shed some light if this will be included in the next update along with the edit function.....

As I have stated since before the launch of the products the products in the Freesat range are not designed to be fully functioning non-Freesat devices, they support a minimum of features for non-Freesat mode.

We won't be supporting channel list editing on the PC because there would have to be a separate body of work for this and no resources have been allocated to doing this task.

Sorry,

Bob

Do humax have any intention of adding a simple timer in non freesat mode ? .

The simplest way I have found to add non-FreeSat channels with the HDR is only manually picking the transponders with the channels you want then after the search delete the channels that you dont want.

Print the frequency / transponder and channels from the kingofsat web site.

A simple manual timer would have been nice but like Bob_Cat said, non-FreeSat takes a back seat.

They have written software for motor support choosing different types of connection to satellite dish ,drop down menus for choosing which satellite to tune to and lnb settings frequency select etc, etc, etc, I don't think a simple timer is a big deal , I don't mind if it does not switch back to freesat after the timer is finished ,so everything but the kitchen sink but the thing that we need most on non freesat is missing.
Why have non freesat mode on a pvr if you can't set a timer beats the hell out of me .
Over to you BOb.
