The more I see of Karen Kardy the more I like her.
She is articulate, knowledgable, and has a pleasant personality.
I think Strictly should employ this admirable lady either to replace "Claude" as presenter of ITT or as a judge to replace poor old Len.

Claudia doesn`t need replacing on ITT. She`s just right for the programme imo.

I could see her replacing one of the judges but Claudia is brilliant on ITT so please no changes there.

ETA I do like the choreography corner bit. Very interesting!

Alway loved Karen, dancing wise and when she appears on ITT i would prefer her as a judge because Claudia is fine

Claudia is perfect for ITT, Karen would be terrible as the main presenter - she isn't light and fluffy enough.
She would make a fantastic judge though. She knows what she is talking about and she's been through the process. Unfortunately her replacing Arlene would never have got the same coverage as Alesha did. So it was never going to happen.

If the BBC ever realise that their target market is completely different to X Factor the there might be hope for Karen.

What a good post. I completely agree.

Karen for judge please!

I love her in Choreography Corner. Although I am a big fan of Darren and Lilia, when they stood in for Karen they were nowhere near as detailed as Karen in their analysis. I am sure they could have been, but maybe they were scared of boring the viewers perhaps? I could have predicted everything they said, whereas Karen always teaches me something new!

Karen replaces Alesha as judge

Alesha replaces Tess as co-host. Her "been through it all" would fit in well in that rôle.

I think her 'we was' critics might find combust if she was given even more time to murder the English language.

Before her fans start getting the stocks ready and piling up the rotten fruit and veg - I defended her on the grammar thread!

If only we ruled the BBC

Had Karen replaced Arlene the ageism row would have still happened, but if Karen replaces Alesha it would be a 'BBC uses common sense' situation.

Karen is brill in CC - always interesting and her explanations are easy to follow. She'd make a great judge.

I wouldn't want to see Claudia replaced but I wish she'd have her fringe cut!!

Love Claudia - so quick-witted and funny. The main reason for watching ITT, so she has to stay. Personally, I liked Alesha as a judge at first - thought she was like a breath of fresh air and lightened the mood of the panel. But she is beginning to get on my nerves now. Karen is great on choreography corner so agree that she would be much better than Alesha as a judge.

Not to the same extent. The criticism about Alesha's appointment was not just about her being younger than Arlene but also the fact that she has limited knowledge about dancing. You can't say that about Karen.

Although at the end of the day Arlene would have still been dumped for a younger model, which stinks!

I'd love Karen to be a 5th permanent judge along side the current judges. Claudia and ITT are joined at the hip as far as I'm concerned.

I agree Lurksalot, not to the same degree - but a degree sufficient to have been damaging to the delightful Karen as the person to have replaced Arlene. If she replaced Alesha there would be less of a hoo-ha as Alesha has shown herself to be somewhat lacking in the judging and articulate speech departments as far as many of us are concerned.

At the risk of getting shot down in flames, Karen Hardy could not do ITT and I think would be a terrible judge.

I genuinely think she's a bit of a psycho. Towards the end of the series she won with Mark Ramprakash she looked like she would have killed anyone who might have taken the crown away. And then whene she danced with gary Rhodes she clearly had no time for him because he wasn't at the same level as Mark.

I can't see that she would be very helpful to the lesser talented celebs.

I love Karen, she is so articule about dance, a wonderful teacher and choreographer. She would have made a great replacement for Arlene, but I think that she has been viewed as quite unpopular in the past, which is shame.

As a dancer Karen was a very Marmite pro (I hate Marmite, but love Karen on SCD), but I'd say a lot of people have been impressed by her on doing CC.

I don't think that Karen has ever been unpopular with the majority of SCD viewers. Only a rather nasty small minority were against her.

I must admit I was thinking of DS which is much more polarised!

Well if we're switching all the ladies around what about Bruce?

You know what, I could really see that working.
