I wonder if that's what Camilla will be doing as the new GMTV fitness guru in the new year, when she replaces Mr Motivator?

I'd love to give it a try!

People talking about fitness classes and healthy eating etc always send me back to my comic reading days.

<Viz Reader's Letters mode on>

What's with all these doctors going on about exercise and eating loads of fruit? I ate five mouldy plums yesterday and cr*pped the bed. What's healthy about that?

<Viz Reader's Letters mode off>

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Good luck to anyone aiming to get fit via dancing (or indeed any activity). It will not necessarily be quick or easy, but the rewards will be great:
- toned body parts
- smaller clothes sizes
- more energy
- stronger immune system (unless you really overdo things!)
- stronger joints and bones

Get stuck in, and have fun!

Do you learn all the ballroom and latin dances and how much do these classes cost?

SCD has teamed up with Fitness First gym to bring a Srictly Group Exercise class.

Looks like good fun, and I'm off to check out if theres a class near me.

Just Google your nearest Ceroc/LeRoc class. I used to go to the gym - started Ceroc and lost a stone in about 4 months, made a zillion new friends and learned to dance - all really quickly. It's cheaper than the gym - and as FHM magazine says "The only sociable way we know to keep fit!"

Hey, I've actually given it a go down at Fitness First and it's a lot of fun! You get to do loads of different dances, but the best bit (for all you cynics!)you don't feel like you're exercising. They're doing them nationally, so give em a ring. What's the worst that can happen - oh I know you might have some fun!!!!

If you want proof it works you only have to look at Natalie Cassidy, she's already gone from size 14 to 12!

Strictly Fit - no, strictly fun

You can try Zumba at some Virgin Gyms. That is alot of fun and lots of different Latin dance styles. It doesn't feel like you are working out at all.
