Lloyd - My fave and feel this years XF would be nowhere near as good without him. Love his voice and he's so hot! Would deffo buy an album. Lloyd to win!

Joe - Second fave, amazing voice and seems a cutie. Not sure i would buy his music tho

Jedward - The other act along side Lloyd that i tune in to see each week. I think they are hilarious and always love their perofrmance. Good saturday night entertainment

Stacey - Quite like her. Shes been my fave girl since the start think she does have a really good voice and makes me laugh with her quirkiness

Danyl - Dont like him, liked him less and less each week. Seems a bit of a idiot tbh

Jamie - Yawn

Olly - Meh, dont really have an opinion. Dont get all the raving about him but at the same time dont dislike him. I would say a steve brookstein with a personality and better looks.

I only ever vote for one act at a time on any reality show, I always pick one that I really like and want to win, this is the one I vote for and it happens to be Olly, talented guy with a huge personality who I can listen to and would buy his music. Then I choose who I think may win and have a little flutter on, this year that was Stacey though I dont vote for this choice unless my personal choice gets booted.

Stacey is ok but like the others nothing special for me, the only ones I dislike are Lloyd and the twins, simply because they cannot sing and should not be there.
Its rare for me to change my mind about my choices and I will support my chosen one until the end unless of course they turn out to be really bad, its rare that I make a wrong choice in terms of satisfaction from my chosen one and I am happy that Olly is living up to my perception.
One person who did change my mind a little was Rachel, after not being so keen on her at first she managed to impress me and I was sorry to see her go.

Jamie - I really like him, love the type of voice he has. He has been let down by Simon though
Olly - dark horse, but hope Simon doesn't just keep giving him cheesy shit and leon type rubbish to sing. I really like him. He is exciting.
Stacey - good, but I don't know, just getting bored now

Danyl - really don't rate him, I find him inconsistent and 'acting'. Just annoys me now.
Joe - also one of the few I fast forward through on sky + . Sure he can sing, but hell he is boring, nothing exciting about him, he has the voice but no X factor.

Jedward - I am no fan, but I can see that this competition needs them for a bit of fun, otherwise it would be the Jamie and Olly show.

Lloyd is diabolical. I am shocked he is still in. The eggnog of 2009.

I am still sad that Rachel isn't in the show. Don't miss any of the other outs.

Eoghan Quigg - the annoying little sh*t from last series

I totally agree with that re Olly too. While people seem to be getting more enthusiastic about him week after week, I am getting less so. I think he's got great performance skills, a good voice and seems really likeable but I think the song choices for him have been a bit twee. To be fair, nobody can out-cool Ferris Bueller's Twist and Shout My favourite performance of his was his first audition where I absolutely remember thinking "Wow, that was great", but I think the show has tried to put him in a box that doesn't suit him.

In no particular order

Jamie - I love his voice and how he comes across in interviews. I guess this is mainly because he is older and a bit more mature.

Lloyd - Does nothing for me, another boy-band type performer. Can't see him handling success particularly well at the moment, he comes across as a bit shy and not very street-wise.

Joe - Probably the best vocally and I could definately see him making a name for himself on the stage, but not sure he is current chart material (Although, as I haven't a clue about the current singles chart, who the heck am I to make a judgement!!)

Olly - I do like him, but there is something a bit smarmy about him. He reminds me of Gary Barlow and although I appreciate that GB's is extremely talented and I like a lot of his work, I don't take to him as a person. So I am a bit so-so about Olly.

Daniel - Again, I appreciate his abilities, but he doesn't really do it for me.

John & Edward - I was annoyed they got put through to the final 12, but I have to say they have been the saving of this series for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed every performance, they have put their hearts and souls into entertaining me, which I have found lacking in some of the others. They may not be good singers, and they may lose direction on the stage, but they have a lot to learn and remember each week.

I suppose, out of all the above, Jamie would be my favourite to win.

I don't think John & Edward should win X-Factor, but I do hope they are successful in some form or other as I would like to think they would continue to grace my screen at some point in the future.

I hope so too, I would love to see them get into tv with their own show - I would definitely tune in!

I just wouldnt buy a CD of their's and I don't think winning The X Factor would be the best thing for them, and this is the only reason I do not vote for them.

i cant believe this thread has got posts.....reasonable debate....pah......this is the ds x factor forum.

Jamie. different to the other acts
Olly. My favourite performance of last weekend
Danyl. One of the best singers in the competition
Stacey. everytime i hear her speak it makes me laugh
John and Edward. atleast the give it a go (that was hard, even harder than jamie!)
Joe. Probably the most consistent performer
Lloyd. His voice is weird, in an intriguing sort of way

wow. that was hard....can i have rant/moan at someone now???

I might as well have a go:

Jamie - liked him in audition, not been keen in the live shows, not sure why but not doing anything for me at the mo

Danyl - His style is not my cup of tea at all so have not been enjoying him. If he does We are the Champions well (without messing around with it) he could become one of my favorites

Joe - lovely voice, lovely lad but for me, not a pop star

Stacey - lovely voice when she is on it but she is pretty inconsistent. Would make a lovely recording artist rather than live performer IMO

Lloyd - nice tone to voice but really hasn't the voice for this at the mo

Twins - they do make me laugh sometimes but I am ready for them to go if I am honest, the whole twin thing is getting out of hand now

Olly - My fave, think his voice is better than he has had the opportunity to show, want to see something different from him this week for his own good as he is rapidly getting the cheesy pigeon-hole which he needs to get away from, I feel there's more to him than that. Also, he really does seem a smashing lad

All the remaining contestants have worked very hard, no doubt had many jokes together and a few tears. They all want to be rich and famous.and have to put up with a load of crap in the process.

They are at the mercy of a lot other peoples opinions of them , and I sure do not envy them for that.
So good luck to them all. Some will make it as a result of having been on X factor and some may not.

I cannot say I like him or hate her because in reality I do not even Know them.
But somehow I am drawn to supporting Danyl and Jamie.

First of all LOL

Second of all - I will allow a little ranting in my reasonable debate thread but NOT about what happened on Sunday. That discussion is at an end for me! Funny/ironic rants only please!

Of course, I cannot, nor would I want to stop people posting as they like, but there are, after all, plenty of other threads on the go on that subject, so to post in here would be silly.

I'll admit I'm not overly impressed by what's left.

Joe - Technically excellent and very consistent, but I just can't see him selling records. Some think 'musical theatre' is some sort of insult, but he could be a big star in the West End, and the stars there make a better living than most pop stars (and then sell reccords). I thinking winning would be bad for him.

Danyl - no doubt he can sing, and has the most distinctive voice but he tends to be overdramatic. If he had a producer to reign him in a little, he could make a decent album. The most likely to get a record deal if they don't win.

Stacey - she sings OK, but there's usually a dodgy bit. I just find her bland. While she's obviously a nice girl, I also don't get her 'wonderful personality', I just think she's a bit thick.

Lloyd - too young and overawed. In 3-4 years time could do a decent job in a boyband.

Jamie - If he was playing in a pub or small venue with a band I'd enjoy it and I usually enjoy him on Saturdays. But any major city has unsigned bands doing what he does better.

Olly - half decent singer and a crowd pleaser. But he always reminds me of Shane Ritchie, which can't be good.

J+E - I just don't get it. Some see them as brilliant entertainers, I just see them as the school show-offs with a bigger budget. There are loads of kids like this - they're just not twins. But good luck to to them. They're talentless chancers riding their luck (much like Simon Cowell himself).

Well my faveourite was lucie, i dont actually dislike anyone whose left though, i just won't vote for them unless they really impress me! but...

olly- great performer, seems very likeable, i like his voice aswell- he will be in the final i think

danyl- didnt used to like him, but i admit im starting to, he is a great singer, but when he's not at his best its not pleasant. Purple rain was great though (thats coming from a ruth fan )

jamie- he's not my cup of tea, but i see the appeal, loved his performance last saturday, and his version of hurt- these are the type of songs he should stick to

joe- love joe, great voice, i wish he put a bit more of an edge to it though, seems more suited to musical theatre atm

lloyd- seems a very sweet guy, beautiful aswell, has anice tone to his voice, and not THAT bad when he has the right song

jedward- entertaining i guess, i see the appeal, would like to hear them 'sing' more though as apparently they can!

stacey- love her personality, but her performances have somewhat disappointed me throughout the lives, if she brings back performances like her auditions then she'll probs be a faveourite of mine again

I have no idea who i want to win now at this stage though

did you not see him before the live shows?
He did "im yours" about a million times (ok two)

Lol you are very sweet!

I noticed above you were suggesting a sing off song for Lloyd - don't be pessimistic - he may never have to do another sing off song!

Its true i think everyone in the competition are truly lovely people

I know but i do really think his time may be up this weekend and i would love him to stay and i will try my very best to keep him there...

I really dont think people have seen what lloyd can do and that bothers me that people on this forum will just think of him as the boy who cant sing but was good-looking.

Because i see great potential in lloyd for a very unique singer.

Beleive me i know everyone thinks lloyd supporters are only voting him for his looks....i would never vote just on looks i have loved lloyds voice from the start.

Olly: I like him, he seems like a nice lad, I think he has a good voice. Doesnt do all the yodelling that I dislike. I would like to see him do some different songs though, as someone pointed out they all seem a bit samey.

Jamie: I like Jamie as well, his voice is not perfect but I like his versions of songs without all the gymnastics. I am not a big fan of people like Leona Lewis or Alexandra... all that vibrato etc doesnt do it for me so to me he is a refreshing change to what I am used to doing well on X factor.

Joe: I think he has a nice voice, he seems like a lovely lad and has a nice face. He isnt the sort of singer I would buy an album from but he is pitch perfect and it is a singing contest so on that basis I think if he won it would not be such a bad thing.

Danyl: I dont deny he is a good singer but I just am not keen on him. He reminds me of those really over enthusiastic priests that I have seen on telly in america, or in films. And he does this 'thing' at the end of each singing line that I cant explain in text, but I dont like it. Like a nnnnyah sound lol.

Stacey : Sometimes I really like her other times I am a bit meh. I did think she was kind of cute with her personality but I am a bit tired of it now. She has a good voice for recording though I think.

Lloyd: Not a fan, dont think he is a very good singer and I dont see the good looking thing that people keep mentioning. BUT I actually thought his bleeding love was ok, not as bad as some made out

J and E : I dont like them, they cant sing so therefore I dont think they deserve to win a recording contract. I dont see how their routines are entertaining either. I used to see people dancing around like that all the time in clubs after a few too many pills.

I dont really have a preference for anyone to win, but I hope that it is someone who can sing at least

Danyl: From his first audition to this day, has been my favourite. He's a FANTASTIC singer and although can bit slightly shouty, really does have talent. He had a low week, yes, but I would if I had that much bad press. My winner.

Joe: Absolutley adore him. I do agree that he can't do every genre, but he's got such a great voice and his performance of 'Don't Stop Believin' was one of my favourites of Rock Week. I believe he could go really far and is an absolute sweetie on top of it all.

Olly: Another one of the best. My third favourite probably. He has real sparkle and pulls off a great performance just about every week (except Diva week perhaps) in my opinion could go very far also. I do think he needs to step up to the challenge of a more modern song rather than stick to a certain genre. Definatley has the publics vote.

Stacey: Loved her from the beginning, but I don't know.. somethings missing. Her audition was one of my favourites and she has an amazing voice but she's just not the same now shes on the live shows. Maybe it's just me?

Lloyd: I know its got nothing to do with his singing but... GORGEOUS.
I think Lloyd has great potential and I know he wont win, but he isnt an awful singer and just needs to mature and work on it a bit. Being a teenage boy probably doesnt help with confidence pulling off a really big performance every week and hes had quite a few knocks. He seems like a lovely lad though, and couldn't do anything but try his best.

John and Edward: Thickest skinned contestants EVER. OK, I admit they can't sing to save their lives and I won't be voting for them.. EVER.
However hats off to them for coming out there, giving it a go and being pretty darn entertaining. Yes, it's not brilliant singing and perhaps they don't deserve to be here still but at least they are being themselves and trying their uttermost hardest entertain us. They shouldn't win, no.

Jamie: Not too keen really. Love the 'fro Thats about it. He isnt the best singer I've ever heard but he isnt the worst. Like Stacey, I dont think he's ever lived up to his first audition but he's got pretty far. And he's a rather cool dude.

DO THINK RACHEL SHOULD STILL BE IN THE COMPETITION.

.. also from watching backstage vids etc. have noticed all of the contestants (even J+E) seem lovely people.
