Tickets for 21st - advice please
Hi, Just got them through on email. I went with my sister last year as my wife was ill. I know you need to get there really early - we got there about 1pm I think. I seem to remember someone saying you could use the BBC canteen for refreshments / loo breaks whilst in the queue. Is that the case, and where is it please?
Also - parking. Now the Westfield shopping centre is open, is that the best place to park? I know it's expensive, but convenience costs! lat time we parked at the one the other side of Sheperd's Bush Green, and it looks as this might be a little closer. |

Hi Stewie, I went a couple of weeks ago. We parked in the car park the other side of Shepherd's Bush green because we were there from 10am and it worked out a lot cheaper. If you are getting there at 1pm you could probably park at Westfield. Both car park tarifs are online because I checked it all out before going! As for the queueing, there is a toilet in the BBC building but not refreshments, not all day anyway. However, Westfield is a 3 minute walk away where you can get anything you need - and more! Hope you have a fab time!

Do bear in mind though that the 21st show is the day after Children in Need so don't they always do it in a smaller studio (ie many less seats) for the audience??
A friend went to the post CIN show a couple of years ago and there was only about half the GP seats as normal... funnily enough there were the same amount of production guest seats! I would imagine the Westfield car park would be very expensive for a whole day unless there is some offer on. I live round there, it was complete gridlock around Westfield (on all 4 sides) last weekend. Arrive as early as you can - it took me about 45 mins to go half a mile last Saturday. |

Or park further out and get the tube to the White City. Probably cheaper too!
