...which means, put Alesha on Celebrity, send her to the jungle; and rescue Camilla and give her Alesha's spot on the judging panel. Fair exchange ?

Alesha's former Misteeq colleague Sabrina's supposed to be doing it isn't she?

I'd rather see Karen as a judge than Camilla.

So would I. Some of Camilla's choreography was called in to question by the judges on a number of occasions last year.

I saw Camilla as some judge on a kids talent show (I think it was roller-dance based) and...she wasn't great. From what I've seen she's a decent presenter, but she doesn't really have a good judge's persona. Maybe it's just because it was a kids show, but I don't know if I'd have her go prime-time with it, so I'd choose Karen, who was (from what I hear, I never saw it) decent as a judge on that Living TV thing she did.

Of course given that Claudia was talking about her being in China for the past 2 weeks (or however long it was that prevented her from doing Choreography Corner), you have to wonder if her schedule is ammeanable.

But the second part of the equation is to have Alesha on I'm A Celebrity.

Some comments about Karen from DS

`Thought Karen came over as a bossy bitch, (sorry). destroying peoples confidence is not something I approve of. dont think the guys were too bothered really about the barbed comments, but then guys look at image a bit differently I think.`

`I agree! she was VILE! The concepts of empathy, sensitivity and charisma seem to be completely alien to this woman. She delighted in the fact these people were bigger than she was and managed to tell one guy he had lost 13lbs without any kind of happiness for him and said it more or less deadpan.`

`Karen did say on Breakfast that she was a bit looking back on footage of herself as a judge as she had gone into complete "Judge Mode" and had 15 years experience of doing this .

She said in competitions she tells it like it is and was pleased Matthew was there to balance things out on this panel.`

From the context, the second quote appears to be about some doctor/dietician rather than Karen.

I wasn't saying there wasn't any negative reaction. There's negative reaction to every single judge on every single reality show. Some people in the same thread are calling Matthew Cutler too weak and wimpy. I was just saying the reaction I heard, which was actually more to do with her being able to articulate herself properly and charismatically on television (if anything the Times quote that she mangled her sentences is far more damning), rather than whether people think she's a "bossy bitch".

I do think it's to do with gender. Women are expected to be nurturing and caring while men can get away with being critical.

Well if Camilla thinks that it's worth it to eat bugs and whatnot in the jungle, it's her choice
