Maybe if he rescues a drowning puppy from the Thames. But it's unlikely a passerby wouldn't take the chance to tie a brick to his ankle.

Despite not being a fan (bit of an understatement I know) I can see him winning. He probably has a good fanbase to keep him there for now. But with a couple of good weeks, concentrating on the song rather than the bleeding money note every time and if the media leave him be, people may well get into the "he's not that bad" mindset. After all, how many people can remember what was in the papers yesterday, never mind weeks ago?

Could he end up being the dark horse? Total mind games from the Svengali that is SC

This is exactly what I think and I am far from being a fan either.
I don't mind him winning. I am sure he'll team up with Simon to make a brilliant record
I hope some the others end up being signed, and signed by another label

I don't see why he isn't still in with a chance.

I would like to see Danyl win, but to be truthful it is a pure lottery/farce this year!

He'll go out the week before the final I reckon.

I'd like him to - he seems to fit in with Simon's agenda. The other contenders are Joe and Olly, imo.

People have been mentioning around here about Olly's 'goat vibrato'. While it's not something I've heard myself, it doesn't go down well in America, and Simon seems determined to go international. Olly's also seen as Robbie-lite, and Robbie never really managed to crack it over there. Stacey doesn't stack up to Leona, and Jamie would be one of a sea of rockers.

If it goes Simon's way I can see it being Joe or Danyl. If it's purely the public I'd reckon Olly or Joe, while Danyl sill has a chance. Mind you, Danyl's my favourite so he's doomed.

But we'll see. I'm sure more than one will be signed in any case.

BTW, anyone know anything about these Danyl-not-allowed-to-dance rumours? Is Simon holding off because he's not that good, or planning to unleash him later as competition to Twinkle Toes Olly?
