I would love to see Ian lift the title with Jade this year but don`t honestly think they have the public backing like Ola and Chris do.

My hunch is that this will be Ian's year.
He and Jade aren't my favourites but I would be happy enough to see them lift that Glitter Ball aloft ![]() He was robbed the year he partnered Zoe though. ![]() xxxxx I think he was robbed twice - with both Zoe and Denise (although I recognised the brilliance of Jill.) This year, I'm not looking solely at Ian, but at his partnership with Jade. He has this knack of delving deep below the surface of his partners' psyche and bringing hidden depths to the fore. Thus with Jade he's managed to expose her femininity whilst not suppressing the steel and determination required of an Olympic athlete. Go Jade and Ian. |

Hope they get to the final, he is just so lovely and Jade has done so well. Sporty people often do well, must be the fitness and desire to win.

Not sure she's getting enough credit for how much she's improved and how good she's become, but then I'm probably a bit biased

I love the way she seems to tire Ian out! Was it the same when he was with Denise? |

I love Ian dearly, and want either him and Jade or Chris and Ola to lift the glitterball. I do get the feeling that if their Tango lives up to expectations it might just be their 'Jill's jive' moment and really mark them out as potential winners.
Realistically, Ricky G should go this week and Natalie next week (apologies to supporters, but they are the weakest), then it's down to a fight out between Ricky W/Ali/Jade/Chris - I would expect the public to keep Chris out of the dance off, Ricky W may have public on side as well - but the judges will save him over all others, so it's a fight between Jade and Ali for the third spot I think. |

What about Laila? I have a feeling she may prove to be a bit of a bugbear if you happen to be in the Jade & Ian camp.
- which probably says more about my memory then her impact on the show ![]() I'd say she'll fall to either Jade or Ali |

As long as he doesn't have to wear anything like the monstrosities I had to wear as a bridesmaid.
Apricot taffetta anyone? |

I'm quite sure she'd lose a DO against Ali but have a nasty feeling the judges might save her over Jade. Just me being paranoid, probably.

Good post, I'm also enjoying Ali, Brian, Ricky W. I wouldn't be upset if all three got to the final. However I would throw my vote behide Jade and Ian, for the same reasons as many on this thread.

Well put, I just love them together, Jade has such a great attitude to the show, she tries hard and is very competitive but does let that stop her seeming to enjoy every minute of the experience.

Iganzio has a way with words (watch his head swell now!). Mwah x ![]() P.S. I dipped in and out of series two, so didn't get a proper feel of the dancers. But I think I'd have preferred Denise to have won over Jill as well because I heard Jill had done a fair amount of dance beforehand? |

I really think Ian and Jade have the potential to win, and would love to see him lift the glitterball after all these years with the show.
Their tango looked pretty bleeding good last night! |

Their tango looked pretty bleeding good last night! I've often envisaged a Tango being done to that Duran Duran track. Great song. |

I agree I'm so excited! But I can't watch live
![]() ![]() It's a bit touch and go for me as well. I'm trying to wriggle out of going out tonight! Quote:
I always thought Denise's ballroom was better then Jill's (although Jill's FT was fabby), Jill edged it in Latin and of course that jive. Overall Denise probably had a couple of dances she was considerably weaker then Jill at, but I loved Denise's ballroom so much, and her and Ian's QS was brilliant

Totally irrational, I suppose, but I'd hate it if any of the newer pros won before either Ian or Erin.
They've both come so close to winning, and have given so much to the show - and to us - it would be a just reward for them. ![]() It's so unusual for me to take against someone for no apparent reason but that is it: I don't want a newcomer pro to take the trophy! Thank you

Although Im an avid Ricky W supporter, I do love Jade and Ian too and Im literally on tenterhooks this week to see their Tango. It looks like it could be spectacular and Im hoping for at least 2 10's for her.
I also love Ian, he's one of my fave professionals and agree he does deserve to lift that glitterball one day. |
