It just occurred to me, I hadn't noticed before, but the 3 new pro dancers are overseas trained.

Were any of the current female pros trained in UK? Or born in UK for that matter?

How about over previous series?

There really is no 'point' I'm trying to make. As I said, I hadn't really clocked this until this week. In fact, I'm really happy that we are being treated to the pick of the world's most beautiful and best...Ola, Katya, Flavia to name but 3

I had noticed this before, and commented on it. It does seem somewhat bizarre that there are no British trained female professional dancers on SCD now. I presume Karen was trained in UK, but has now (alas) been dropped.
It doesn't say much about supporting British trained dancers does it...
Also, the female dancers appear to get the elbow when they reach a certain age (as did Arlene), whilst the men (Anton) seem to keep on over 40. Mmmm....

Flavia is Britsh trained, she didn't do any dancing in Italy i don't think it was only when she moved to England her parents wanted her to do something

Erin, Lilia, Ola, Camilla, Flavia and Nicole all competed for England which IMO is more important.
