Dannii Minogue has said that Simon Cowell was right to make the decision to save John & Edward on last weekend's X Factor.

Cowell's call took the panel to deadlock, with Minogue's act Lucie Jones controversially losing the earlier public vote to the twins.

Minogue told Metro: "Looking back at last Sunday, Simon was actually right in making the decision he made. He did it on the moment.

"I know that because I was looking right in his face and it was a split decision. But ultimately the public put both acts in the bottom two."

Of her disagreements with Cowell on the show, she added: "I'm not scared of being fired by Simon because of last week.

"It's his show so he can make those decisions at any given time. All I can do is turn up to work and do what I do and say what I think."

It would show a terrible lack of backbone if Dannii has said this & would also show that Cowell will stop at nothing, not even humiliating one of his fellow judges in this way, to regain somecredibility........
