finally i care. there is a couple im interested in. its taken weeks and almost everyone leaves me cold and disinterested but today i realised who i want to win (however unlikely) and its chris and ola!

i dont think ali is strong enough nor jade
ricky is going to win
but i actually care about a couple at last... phew i thought i was lost this year.

anyone else slow to care this year? if so why? is it the contestants? are they a bit 'dull'?

I am now rooting for a few of them .
Chris and Ola my number one ,
Ali and Brian number two
Jade and Ian number three ,

I would be deighted to see any of the above win . I dont mind which and it makes it all the more watchable

If it becomes hugely obvious that noone can beat Ricky W I will very quickly loose interest again ,

I love Chris and Ola too

OK he's not the best dancer there is but he has personality and enthusiasm in bucket loads. His partnering with Ola is brilliant, those two have great chemistry together and of course it's all purely down to pot luck who they get as it's all do with heights isn't it? It might have got Flavia and it could have been a 'disarster'

Those two just hit it off and you can tell there's genuine warmth there, look how she was kissing him at the end of their dance on Saturday - she was beaming like a proud Mum!

I also like Jade and Ian, they also have big personalities but not the cuteness of Cola. Natalie and Vincent are also favourites with me - they just seem to have loads of fun together and it's great watching people actually enjoying themselves.

But I'm afraid Ali and Brian leave me a little bit cold even though I can appreciate that they're brilliant dancers together. There's just something missing IMO.

Lovin' Chris & Ola. He's really brought out her personality this year.

I agree with this post......I would prefer Jade and Ian to win rather that Ali and Brian but otherwise I would be happy with anyone really except Mr Wittle I am afraid.......good dancer but just not an interesting enough person to take my attention.

You must be my long lost twin! That is my list exactly.

I've been fond of Chris and Ola since the start.

My view is I'd love to see them get to the final and then, if a better dancer won, I wouldn't feel hard done by.

I think they would feel great even if they got a sniff of the final.......but goodness me it would be a great Yeah baby moment to see them lift the trophy

That is exactly how I feel too. I'm rooting for them.

I still don't have a favourite. Which is good news for the dancers, since it's the kiss of death, none of my favourites ever won Strictly.

Chris Hollins = weird creeply little man.

Sorry but he is really letching over Ola and trying not to make it too obvious. Urgh.

So much prefer Jade and Ian's relationship AND their dancing!

Me too twin!

I was thrilled to bits and had a smile on my face when I read he was doing SCD.

I'm also supporting Jade and Ian and hope both couples make the final.

I think we must be watching a different show.

I have great hopes for his Jive on Saturday in the respect of it showing a vulnerability in him.
It showed last year that generally, people don't like mechanical perfection and where would be the competition aspect if one couple scooped it all?

At week 9 () my wish list for the final is Jade, Natalie and Chris but can't decide on a winner.

Chris & Ola AND Jade & Ian for me, in no particular order. I'm very pleased when both of these couples get thru each week.

I hope he gets the face right looking like a grumpy trout at the moment but the dance looks good.

I've never seen him letching over Ola

Isn't it weird how we all pick things up differently? I would never have said the above in a million years but Kitty has seen something in Chris that I haven't and doubt I ever will!

That's the wonder of opinions

I love Jade and Ian too and was gutted when they were in the dance off the other week

I think so too .

I have to say I think this idea is very wrong .
They get on and have a great relationship ;it's all harmless and enjoyable and James fully supports them both .

Letching ?? I don't buy that at all .

I have liked him from the beginning . and really hope they stay in .

I agree with the OP ,I would be very surprised to see Ricky win .

I have a feeling it is Ian's year .

I also hope Tuffers does well .

Actually 'the shriveller' look could be great entertainment. Making folks laugh, even if unintentionally, can be good for votes.

I think you are alone in that observation .,I have never even seen a hint of anything in that line whatsoever

Isn't that heresy on DS these days

I was beginning to think I was the only person on the planet who couldn't stomach him. I loved Ola and Kenny but the "excitable little hobbit" act is really getting on my wick now

I'm not too keen on Team Cola either. Chris is not a very good dancer and the whole "yeah baby", "little hobbit", "Ola chops" thing is getting repetitive and annoying -- but no doubt Mummy's Boy will probably win because he seems to appeal to The Great Unwashed.
