DAB for iPod Touch 3G: Roberts Robi Pod1 Vs Intempo iDAB
RileyM

So...I'm just about to purchase an iPod Touch 64GB, but am looking for a DAB add-on.

I'm new to iPods so please forgive me...Is the dock connector on all iPod products the same? I see the Intempo iDAB is listed as connectable to the iPhone (which i understand is identical to the iPhone - minus the phone).

If the Dock connector is not the same, will the Roberts Robi Pod1 connect to the Touch? if the connectors are the same, do you hae any recommendations...Robi or iDAB?

Thanks in advance

Not THAT identical!

I have the Robi (not tried the other). It's good - signal can occasionally be hit and miss, but in the main fairly strong. For both, I think the ipod just acts as a battery for them (as in nothing comes up on the ipod screen), although you can use the robi as an inline remote (quite handy for the Touch). It does have an annoying glitch that switches the ipod screen on and off every few minutes though.

But for 50 quid, it's pretty good really.

Hope that helps.
