How could anyone not like Nathalie Cassidy? She seems to be the friendliest and sweetest person in the competition. I never watch soaps so I don't have any pre-conceived ideas about her, and her dancing isn't brilliant, but if there were a competition for the nicest contestant, she should win it.

Natalie Cassidy has always irritated me. She's so loud and false and talks in kind of condesending way. Her character in Eastenders got on my nerves as well, im gutted they are bringing her back. Even if it is only temporary. She'd long out stayed her welcome when she quit.

Lovely girl but is being way over marked IMO.
Just like Kelly Osbourne on DWTS. The further she goes on i can see the judges maybe turn on her. They are being nice now but once she is left with all the best dancers i can see them mark her lower.

I like Natalie's personality and her relationship with Vincent but I really don't enjoy her dancing - Ricky G is the only one I'd say was worse

I'd rather Ricky G, Laila went out first

I'm the opposite with Ricky W - love his dancing but find him just a bit dull, he should get to the final though

Natalie & Phil are apparently s'posed to be the cheeky cockney salt of the earth characters.

I find them both quite tedious tbh...

Natalie is relatively harmless but her dancing is messy and she needs to stop going on about wanting better scores because it will put people off who used to think she was a nice, normal and easy going lass.

I like Natalie C both for her fun relationship with Vincent and also because she could be anyone in the street (not Corrie ) who is having the chance of a lifetime to learn proper dancing from a World Champion, dress and glam it up (although as has been said, the dressers are failing her so far), and generally enjoy the whole experience which she is.
(I'm jealous actually )

No airs and graces about her and I get the impression this is the first chance she has had to gain some feminine refinements....and she's lapping the whole thing up

Perhaps there have not been many female influences in her life - she mentioned a few weeks ago that her Mum is sadly no longer here.

Well said, Bonnie.

Funny how it seems to be ok to like some celebs, but not if that happens to be Natalie.

I prefer to post about the people I do like rather than spout off non-stop about those I don't.

Genuine, and exhuberant for me.

She may not be the best dancer on Strictly but she is trying her best like everyone elae, and deserves to be there just like them.

I'm not a fan of her dancing but I don't understand where 'false' comes from. Or the idea she is condescending. I think she's got a good sense of humour and seems like a warm person.

She's shallow and fake. Can't stand her.
She really put my back up when she was promoting her keep fit DVD on Radio 1. With so many teenagers with body issues listening, the self-satisfied moron said she had been aiming to slim down to a size 10, but when she got that far, she decided to keep going to a size 8. Can't you just imagine girls across the country pushing their plates away?

If she ever dreamt she would be a size 8 she would wake up and apologise.

I wasn't sure I would like Natalie on SCD - but I really do! She is my fave female left in.

She seems friendly, supportive and kind to the other contestants - her partnership with Vincent is fantastic - I think she has really brought out the best in him!

I don't understand where all this contempt for Natalie comes from. I think we all agree she isn't the most naturally talented dancer on the show - but she's doing a bloomin' great job.

She doesn't come over as loud at all to me. She seems quite poised and quick witted - 'You could be 6' 4''!' is still the quote of the series for me!

Ah, she was a bit mean about Ali though Mamaboogie after her mate Zoe got kicked off. I do think she could've handled her disappointment with a touch more dignity.

I like the relationship between Natalie and Vincent but her dancing is not graceful and I find her face distracting.

I'm surprised that all the contestants are as nice about each other as they are! Emotions must run very high!

Indeed they must. I did find what she said about Ali was a bit uncalled for though and had lost what little interest I had left in her when she showed her true colours. I appreciate she was upset because her friend had been booted out but it wasnt Ali's fault, she should kick off at the GBP for not voting for her.

I don't remember Natalie saying anything nasty about Ali.

She has openly admitted since then that she went too far and was having a problem with food/body image.

She was going on about how Ali was 'quaking in her little slippers' in this really bitchy tone. There was a thread about it last week.

She wasn't too complimentary about Brian in her BBC radio2 interview either. Why make personal statements about someones looks
