I've got to say, I enjoy these 'live lounges' more than any other performance on the show
I think these songs really suit their voices, which is weird seeing as it's Lady Gaga

This is actually really good.... one of the best covers of it I've heard, and I've heard a LOT.

Just shows that Cowell's stifling influence really doesn't let contestants show off their real talents.. I normally don't like Jamie, but he's awesome on this. And looks like Olly is a much better singer than he gets credit for.

After Lucie left this weekend, they all appear like nothing more than pub singers on that show now.

Any sense of seriousness has gone.

They should show this on like an xtra factor special on Fridays to give that little bit of tease before the big live shows kicks off.

Love it.

But, am I cruel for thinking it would have been hilarious if Olly had fallen backwards off the arm of the sofa when he was really going for it (as long as he didn't hurt himself mind)

I always enjoy watching the live lounge videos. I'm not hugely keen on the Over 25's apart from Jamie, but I do find these videos entertaining.

LOL yeh this really sounds like a pub song cover! ROFL.

This is current/fresh, something which I don't think Lucie quite got right. I am a big supporter of Lucie tho and really hope she finds her image/niche and goes for it.

They are excellent in this; Olly has that slight Adam Levine/Jamiroquai sound which he had at audition and which Simon has successfully managed to stifle completely in the live performances....nice one, Simon.

I love these If only for Jamie's daft side of his personality that comes through in them.

To think these will end with the X Factor and as soon as one of the overs is voted out

I'm not sure your post was that important that it warrented appearing twice

Oh I know, BAD SIMON!!
I just think as soon as he sings something modern in the live shows he'll go right up in people's estimations and will become more relevent as an artist, as these videos show that!

I hate the FACT that Simon is deliberately holding Olly back by giving him the old fashioned rock 'n' roll type songs every week.

He does them well, but with the right song he can do much better.

And to abuse a judges word; if they gave Olly some up-to-date stuff, Olly could be a "relevant" artist.

Still, we can't have Simon's star act upset can we.

and the sound is a lot better than when a so-called professional sound engineer is mixing them on the live stage.

Yep, for all his gazillions in the bank, old Simon has no idea how to bring out the best in people.
