With Bruce not doing the presenting tomorrow night and his dancing at the start of the show is it going to be a bit odd when the two presenters coming down the stairs and what will they do if it is Tess and Claudia

I'm not a die-hard fan of the show by any means but Bruce ruins the show for me, so I will be glad to watch it without him cracking 'jokes' and just generally being a dithering old man.

I can't bloody wait, it's going to be great with Claudia and not Bruce! Claudia will be fantastic!

It's going to be interesting. I'm wondering how Tess is going to cope with fronting the show. I'm sure Claudia will be great in the Tesspit.

I just hope that Tess doesn't do any 'jokes'.

It'll certainly be different. I imagine there'll be some people who genuinely miss Bruce, some who don't think they will but then find they do, some who don't notice he's gone. There'll be some who think Tess is great, some that spend their whole time gritting their teeth whilst she talks. Some will think Claudia is great, witty and a lovely change in the Tesspit whilst others will find her really annoying.

The only prediction I'm making is that opinion will be totally divided

Brucie with his repetitive mannerisms and sayings certainly leaves his stamp. Who else could say "ladies, gentlemen and children, nice to see you, to see you nice..." Probably one of the secrets of his success.

I can't wait to see what Claudia will be wearing.

I'm trying very open-minded about the whole thing. What Tess has on her side is her experience of the show but, after the whole Alesha debacle I will wait and see. Claudia "should" be ok as long as she doesn't slip into Davina mode!

*fingers crossed that I'm being unduly pessimistic*

I'd much rather see Claudia replace Bruce tonight instead of Tess, & for Tess stay where she is.

Poor Tess is not very bright & has nothing to say - I always squirm, whatever says. More is less...

Am really looking forward to seeing Claudia! Not sure that the partnership with Tess will work though. Just doesn't look right on paper.

Like a good hook in a song, a catch phrase is extremely important for comedians if they want to implant themself in peoples heads. Ken Dodd's - "How tickled I am", The Two Ronnies - "It's goodnight from him" are a couple of examples.

Bruce has had a few over the years, right back to the days of Sunday Night At The London Pladium when it was "I'm in charge"

Not so much a secret but definitely a winner.

It may well be weird but I'm looking forward to it.

Could be car-crash TV but I think Tess might surprise us all and do a fine job. I hope she does.

From the BBC website!

Tess Daly is joined by Ronnie Corbett and Claudia Winkleman to present the popular dance competition, which steps up a gear as the remaining couples head back to London to take to the dance floor, performing either a ballroom or Latin dance.

Excellent!
