The Saturdays - Forever Is Over

Alot of their fans hated it, it didn't get much hype, and it looks set to be out of the chart this week (and it's the lead single from their second album, only been in the charts six weeks. I personally love it, especially Una's piece.

Plus,

Beyonce - Broken Hearted Girl
Jordin Sparks - Let The Music Play
Eminem - Beautiful

I generally think Little Boots entire album is underrated. It's a very good album ,the songs work on their own but it also coheres and can be listened as a full piece of art.

I think its a case of she's seen as not mainstream enough for the chart lovers but those who like more unknown music find her too mainsteam

Two words - X Factor.
Her album is great, fave songs are Remedy, Ghost, Symmetry, Stuck on Repeat, Click, New In Town... in short nearly the whole album! Remedy gets played too much by me though.

Let The Music Play is good - the first upbeat song I've heard her singing. I'd also agree about Forever Is Over - it's no Up but it's still really good.

Interesting list. Whatever happened to Girls Can't Catch? Haven't heard a thing about them since.

Got to be Empire of the Sun - We Are The People, or Florence and the machine Cosmic Love although I don't think that's been released as a single. We are the people is a great summery tune and totally underated!

Surprise no one's mentioned Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield". Surely deserved to be a much bigger hit than it was.

^^^ Re: The 2 posts above

Paolo's single's might not have charted well but his album has been a huge success and I think that is more important. It is criminal though that Candy didn't do well. amazing song and video.

Bat For Lashes - Daniel

Just ran a quick search on Wikipedia to find out where exactly it charted, expecting atleast a top 10 position... "Peak position: 36".

I'm completely gob-smacked by this. One of the most sublime songs not just of 2009 but of the last few years!

Beyoncé-Broken Hearted Girl, I love it, more than Halo. For me it should've been a much earlier Single.

P!nk-I Don't Believe You, one of her strongest songs and vocals yet, she just keeps getting better.

Taylor Swift-You Belong With Me, should have been a chart topper over here.

Sophie Ellis Bextor -Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer

Anything by Paloma Faith, her album is magnificent.

Keri Hilson- Energy
Ethereal

Pink - Funhouse definitely deserved to be higher. I also agree with Paloma Faith.

honestly

Ciara - Work

a lot of money and effort went into that video and song and it got heavy airplay aswell as being a UK exclusive song but it only charted at No.53
