Anyone into their stuff?

What I've heard of it so far, yes.

That isn't altogether that much yet though...

Anything with DG in it has to be worth a listen though

Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, John Paul Jones. It's a dream lineup. Only heard "New Fang" so far myself. I love that and can't wait to hear more.

I've been listening to their live songs on youtube since they started playing, and I've already downloaded the leaked album. I'm really loving it (more than the last couple of QOTSA albums maybe), but they are absolutely heavy and loud as hell live, and that doesn't come through on the album so much. Can't wait to see them again in December.

Is anyone else going to this tour?

I got it today too. I wish could've been patient and not played the songs to death weeks before it came out, but still, it sounds pretty fantastic. The second half of the album is the best IMO, I adore Daffodils, Bandoliers, Reptiles, Interlude With Ludes, Scumbag Blues and Warsaw.

Oh God yes i've been listening to them. Every song has a different feel and charm about it, it's awesome. Favourite album this year by a mile, and Elephants is probably gonna be one of my favourite songs ever.

Just to let everybody know, BBC2 is showing the Crooked Vultures' set from Reading on Friday night/Saturday morning at 12:50am. It's on after Later with Jools Holland. It's a cracking performance too, and maybe there will be subtitles too browncoat! You're gonna have an awesome time at that gig Capt. Tightpants.

On another note (ha!) the songs off the record are great to play on guitar or bass. I'm sure they're just as good on drums too, but I'm useless in that department.
