The rumba done properly involves many raisings and lowerings of the heel, moving the ankle and ligaments, placing bodyweight on one foot, driving it into the floor. Once injured, nature soon races to repair the area by pumping fluid into it, soon making it painful to move.

If painkilling injections are administered for the sake of one performance switching off nature's fire alarm, there could be hell to pay later ?

Jade's an Olympic athlete, if anyone can dance through the pain it'll be her

Now Phil says his knee is swollen and he keeps having to rest.

Just to add to the general merriment!

Claudia said she SAW Lalia's foot swelling up after her dance, and Lalia could not dare face it. After her rescue by voters neither she nor Anton showed joy or relief, just dumbfounded, knowing what would be coming next week.

The swelling will last for days, maybe the whole week. Having stressed the injury to the point of tears the swelling will now come with a vengeance. There is no way they can practise over the next 6 days. Tuffers has probably been evicted for a celeb who will be forced to withdraw.

Good intention to rescue the lame duck, but bad outcome. As for the dance-off, how was Laila supposed to dance-off tonight?

Possibly, in hindsight, that was a little harsh?

You would think a few apologies might be in order.
