Tonight's presenting role switch
What are the thoughts so far?
I'm actually finding that I like Tess A LOT MORE in Bruce's role, so I'd be happy for her to take that. I'm also finding that I like Claudia A LOT more than Tess. She seems more enthusiastic and she's not constantly staring at those bloody cue cards Tess has backstage. |

I agree. I don't see the need for Ronnie Corbet though.

I think the opposite. I'm not a great fan of Tess anyway to be honest but there's been a couple of slip ups (at the start) and its been distracting. Never thought I'd miss Brucie so much though, bless his heart.

Claudia doing Brilliant.
Tess is doing a good competent job, but she wouldn't have been able to carry off the Brucie style jokes in the opening...so what a masterstroke to get Ronnie Corbett in for that bit. |

I usually dislike Strictly Come Dancing - what a surprise that this week I'm really enjoying it! I agree that Tess is much better than Bruce (not missing his jokes!) and Claudia fits in so perfectly!
With regards to the opening bits, if they were to have Claudia and Tess permanently they could always change the format at the start! |

Yep I agree too.
Don't see the need for Ronnie Corbitt. The 2 women are carrying the show brilliantly. |

Love love love Claudia
![]() Please can we keep her in this role please BBC pretty please ? I don't mind Tess as much as usual this week. Normally she makes me cringe but not this week - she's barely registering on the irritation scale. The only one getting on my nerves as usual is Alesha but we can't have everything can we ? |

I think Tess is much better in Bruce's role, and Claudia is brilliant in Tess's usual role. I thought Claudia handled the bit with Jade very well too.
Don't see the point of Ronnie Corbett, but never mind lol |

I really like them together, I don't miss Bruce's cringeworthy jokes and Tess seems much more relaxed outfront than she does in the Tesspit.

It does seem the BBC are just holding on to Brucie for what he is. It does go to show they don't need him, but then some of the viewers would miss him. As the say " The show must go on" |

Glad to see a lot of similar opinions. If Bruce leaves I really hope they run the show like this. Although... would Claudia still do ITT?!

Surely she's only got a few weeks left? Darcey Bussell takes over for the last few weeks....

Loved Claudia, and liked Tess more than I thought I would but Ronnie Corbett was pointless.

I'm liking both Tess and Claudia tonight.
Tess is better in this role as the presenter, no fussing about. And Claudia has a great rapport with all the couples. |
