Agreed, Claudia did a much better job than Tess and her annoying Cooples and Joodges.

I much preferred Tess to be out doing the intro stuff, you avoid the awkward backstage interviews! Claudia was utterly brilliant, I want her as my new best friend
![]() Join the queue, I do too! Along with Marian Keyes, the novelist and all round fab person and huge Strictly fan. Can you imagine those two and a couple of bottles of wine and all the backstage Strictly goss in your living room? And seriously - thought Claudia did a really good job tonight - felt as if she had always been there. Go Claud! |

Well done Claudia - a wasted talent just on It Takes Two and why didn't the producers let her announce the results with Tess?

Claudia is fab. She saved the show for me tonight. It would have been a complete let down without her.
Well down Claudia! |

I’ve always loved Claudia, but I love her even more now, you can never have too much Claudia imo. “serious face!” LOL!
![]() I wish we could keep her backstage instead of Tess! I don't even mind keping Tess, if she stays upfront with the judges instead of Brucie and it means we get more of Claudia.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Tess didn't want Claudia to be out on front.
Let's face it, Claudia shows how impromptu wit should be done. She can actually interact with people, and she does it in style. To be fair, Bruce on a good day can do that too. But Tess? Not so much with the interaction thing. |

Tonight highlighted the difference in talent for me between Tess and Claudia when it comes to presenting live TV.
I think Tess has been talked about extremely cruelly by some people on here and hasn't deserved half the abuse that's been given to her, however Claudia is clearly more natural and spontaneous on a live show than Tess is able to be. Sad to say, but she is just a bit wooden in front of the camera and doesn't show enough energy or personality. Claudia is exactly the opposite. |

I really enjoyed the Tess and Claudia show tonight
I didn't miss ole Brucie at all and, quite frankly, could have done without Ronnie Corbett who made Bruce look good ![]() Claudia was excellent in the Tesspit and they could easily have made Claudia the main presenter. Claudia is Queen of Strictly!

I am new to the Winkleman phenomena.
Tell me, is she always so erm erratic/quirky? Don't get me wrong, I really loved her tonight. She was at her best without the autocue. That's quite amazing for a stand-in. |

Claudia is so talented, bubbly, kooky, funny, a complete natural. She oozes charm, charisma and that certain something that sets her apart from your run-of-the-mill presenters - and she is so adorable. I too would want her as my best friend and I loved her "raccoon voice"!!
Come on BBC - get your act together and offer Claudia Tess' job. You have an this girl with extraordinary talent - so use her to her full potential. What a remarkable girl she is. |

I feel the need to here express my undying love for Claud.
I actually heart her, she's excellence in a presenter! Edit: I'm so glad she was there tonight. Last edited by Innocent_fairy : 14-11-2009 at 22:39. Reason: Needed to add more Claudia love |

I loved the way she went into her 'serious face' and deep voice as we went to the judges scores!

That's quite amazing for a stand-in. ![]() She's funny, warm, and completely in her own little world, yet still hugely professional without seeming to be so. She really should be given the backstage gig full time as she has the engaging personality for it which Tess lacks... although I do have to say that I thought Tess was the best she's ever been tonight. She was able to present effectively which suits her far more than pretending she has any interest in the kooples. |

Claudia is brilliant and stole the show tonight. She's funny, quick-witted and natural with that all-important quirkiness that is so entertaining. Her sincerity and warmth shine through, and she's got bucketloads of charisma.
