I think the show may have lost it's spark tonight and gone back towards the old 50's show. There is no spark and the producers have made it plan a simple.

I thought they may have panned towards Ronnie keeping the old jokes flowing?

I prefer this week without Bruce. Claudia is fab! Don't see the point of ronnie, but he's ok.

I think tonights show is quite good. Claudia is hilarious, she really lightened up the green room. Ronnie Corbett was a nice surprise as well.

Talk about drama - Brucie with the flu, Jade being forced to no take part tonight, Laila breaking down in tears from the pain of her injury. At least Strictly does REAL drama unlike certain other shows that have to rely on faux PR stunts every week.

The only bad points, which are the same every week, are the hoity-toity audience and the crap interval act guests (eg. The Jersey Boys, Andy Williams )

Must admit , have always put up with Brucie and his jokes in SCD and felt he 'made' a live show
But how great were Tess and Claudia ? !!
Really enjoyed tonights show - found Claude in the green room more fun and Tess was very slick without the old jokes
No real need for Ronnie C to be there but he still told his jokes with better timing than Bruce and I didn't miss Mr F not being there for one min
If and when he has to go - give us more Tess and Claudia
Well done all

Hope Jade is ok - god that sounded really nasty with her bad knee
Hope Laila is better next week too

Get well soon to all

Looking only at the presentation side, I thought tonight was FAR better than normal.

No Bruce, so no embarrassing jokes, fumbling with the autocue etc

OK, we were lumbered with Ronnie C, but not too much of him (and I don't mean height-wise!)

Tess was surprisingly good as main host

And the wonderful Claudia!

What more could we ask for

Tess amd Claudia have certainly put themselves in prime spot to take over the presenting in this show. Thought they were both very good.

I thought the whole show was very flat and lacking tonight , except that Claudia was every bit as great as I thought she would be .

Though I would agree about genuine drama!

Claudia was great, tres amusant. Made Tess look even more feeble. RC didn't need to be there, he didn't add anything to the show he was just sort of 'there'.

Did anyone else notice we came within a hair's breath of yet another sprained ankle when Ronnie C almost fell down the stairs at the start of the show... talk about a jinx week. There really was no need for him to be there at all... Tess and Claudia handled it all really well.

For a moment or two I did wonder if they shouldn't simply have cancelled tonight's show in view of all the absenteeism and injuries, but actually it was rather good. Claud was very funny, and the non-appearance of Ms Carey was a bonus!!

Thank goodness!! First I heard that Ronnie Corbett was on, then Mariah Carey - almost made me want to miss the show. Almost.

I thought Ronnie was dire - a complete waste of time.

Tess was Tess - the location just changed.

The dancing was meh in general. I was so disappointed not to see Jade & Ian's Tango.

Claud was fantastic! Made the show for me and lightened the mood in the downbeat circumstances.
