I couldn't care less about what size she is, she was grossly overmarked and it makes a mockery of the whole show.

Why are you proud of being smaller than a 12? What a sad world where being stick-thin is something to be proud of.
sorry I didn't mean to offend. It's just that, like Natalie, it's a constant battle with my weight and I make a lot of sacrifices, just as I'm sure Natalie does. I was just making the point that I honestly do think that Natalie is the size 12 she says she is. I'm not stick-thin and I don't want to be. Having said that, being a size 10 does mean the world to me, having almost approached size 18 almost 4 years ago now. That's why I'm proud of myself especially since I've spent this summer putting on the weight I'd previously lost. Again, sorry to offend. Maybe a mere moment of madness but we all have those.

Well I loved their Foxtrot and I don't care if she's size 12 or 22.
It was an honest, gentle performance and if they were overmarked, so was everybody else because they were for me, the right position on the leaderboard.
Spot on - and ultimately, that's the most important thing.

I'm really not liking the tone of this thread. The size of the girl really has nothing to do with anything. But yes, i do agree that she has been overmarked in quite a few of her dances (particularly tonight!) But so was Ricky W, in my opinion. I don't know what it is with the judges but it's like they seem afraid to say anything too negative to Natalie.

She's a T-X mark 2 sent back from the year 2035, so it's probably very wise of them not to anger her.

Smaller than size 12 equals stick thin?

Exactly what I've been thinking. Even Craig treats her with kid gloves.

I agree 100%. People say Ricky W is overmarked, but he's by far the best dancer in the show. Natalie is obnoxious, loud, condesending, up herself and a royal pain in the arse. She doesn't need her already inflated ego massaged by the judges when she doesn't deserve it. She's nowhere near as good as she thinks she is, her Jive was shit the other week. But she went on and on about how much she wanted to do the jive and how much she wanted a 30.. its pathetic.

Oh and she blatantly lies about her weight, Size 12 my arse!
i agree with your post

the reason she gets over marked is because she is fat IMO

Oh she is so over-the-top I want to scream.

Message to Natalie:

Yes, Natalie, we know you love Strictly - you say it in every vid clip ad naseum. I expect Vincent is sick to death of hearing you rabbit on about how much you love him. I am sick of hearing you begging for marks. When you dance I want to laugh - you dance like a baby elephant with clodhoppers on. Why the judges overmark you is beyond me - what do they see that I don't? Yes - you have a good work ethic, and you follow Vincent's instructions to the best of your ability but to give you 9's is a joke.

Message over

Ali's char-char-char was so superior to Natalie-Thumpa's Foxtrot and I just wonder why she is the Judges Little Favourite.

She's definitely overmarked and has been from the start. Personally I like her, but the judges are meant to be marking the dance not the personality. Its really bugging me now!

I am in shock !!!! thnat dance was worth 7's max. Judges said it had faults then gave her that score. Not doing her any favours now, her time is up, I mean can you imagine the show dance. I'm raging.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This is the first time I have seen this truth in print!!!

Size 12???? On whose scale? Her backside is the size of a smallish planet!!

I don't normally criticise the sister-hood on matters of weight, but she's totally delusional.

In the foxtrot tonight she had a strange head position yet again, chin towards the ceiling. She walked forward on toe leads every time I could see her feet and didn't lower her heel correctly so she was on a toe instead of NFR leading to incorrect rise and fall.

I really can't understand why the judges are being so much softer on her than any other contestant. Yes she's bubbly and enthusiastic, but her dancing leaves a lot to be desired.
Absolutely 100% agree. I thought they were very soft on her considering the errors even I saw in her footwork. They seem to be noticeably giving her an easier ride than the others.

And on the issue of her weight (which I didn't really want to get into but...) her main problem seems to be her lack of waist definition. I bet she would look an awful lot smaller if she was pear shaped rather than apple. Just unlucky genetics.

I believe she is going back on Eastenders a BBC show surely that would not influence her scores.

she is very wooden dancer and the way she cranes back her neck all the time looks totally forced and most awkward. She has none of the natural rhythm of Ricky W and none of the grace of Ali and it was a farce that she was only one point behind these two far, far superior dancers on the leader board.

Simply couldn't believe those scores, ridiculous over marking, a very stuttery FT which had footwork errors even I could see - I'm now expecting her first 10 next week

Just had a quick look at the marks for the Foxtrot so far and I think she was overmarked. I don't think it was 1 mark worse than Jade and Ian or on a par with Laila and Anton personally. God knows what she'll get next!

Jade & Ian - 35
Natalie & Vincent - 34
Laila & Anton - 34
Chris & Ola - 34
Zoe & James - 33
Ricky & Erin - 28

(there are more but they are the couples who have been eliminated and tbh their scores were in the very low 20s)

So, you managed to miss the several threads, that eventually got merged into one long and quite nasty thread, on this very subject, then?

I think the judges are trying to make up for the wardrobe/makeup malfunction that Natalie seem to have every week I have never seen anything as funny as her hairdo last night.

Totally agree - that "hair-bow" was hilarious. Wardrobe and Make-up need to pull their socks up - not only was Natalie's hair awful, the dress unflattering - this year the designer seems to be a graduate from The Anne Summer's School of Fashion, the hair stylist majoring in poodle perms, the bizarre and being trained in the 1940's - if Erin's hair was anything to go by. Well done Costume, Makeup and Hair - you have certainly added to my pleasure of "Strictly" this year - but this is not a bouquet - it is a brickbat.

So your issue is with her as a person, not her marking then?

It's right, she is overmarked but there's no need to personally attack her like that.

You notice alot of the dresses seem to be recycled too. Like some dresses that Flavia has worn, you'll see a female celebrity wearing a VERY similar one to it with the same pattern.

Apparently the Strictly Come Dancing wardrobe department has been hit by the credit crunch too!
