I'm absolutely gutted for Phil and for Katya too. She's the only one of the new professionals that has aquitted themselves well in the competition

Me too, with his cheeky chappie persona every week, he tried to get by with his character instead of talent.

He's not going to change who he is for the sake of a TV show. What's the point in that and what's wrong with being a cheeky chappie?

There is still Nathalie Lowe with Ricky W. I think she isn't doing half-bad.

Tuffers was fun to watch, but he did make a mistake in the DO and Ricky G. didn't......

I don't like Natalie TBH but I see what you're saying

I'm glad he's gone. He's smugger than Simon Cowell when he looks at his bank account.

That persona is exactly how Phil is. He wasn't putting anything on. He was being himself (and I really like him).

Sorry to see him go.

I'm happy he has gone because he didn't seem to be putting in as much effort as anyone else.

Maybe he should've made a lot more of his injury with a bright coloured knee bandage every week?!
Then he would have got the sympathy vote and made it a level playing field!

..or falling into Katya's arms sobbing. She could have carried him off the dancefloor. A sure fire way to get voted back in.

Agreed. I think he was fed up and that's why Len chose him over Ricky G.

That was starting to change though and his marks didn't go up for no reason did they? imo he wasn't being overmarked the way some people were and he doesn't have completely natural dance talent. He tried his best and got something out of the show he wasn't expecting so started to try a bit harder. He clearly loved it by the end and was completely hurt to go. Len annoyed me over the whole thing tonight. I won't forgive him for his decision and I won't forgive him Alesha or Bruno for bickering over said decision when it had been made and Tess was trying to interview him

I think he had more to give, so I'm disappointed.

Completely agree. I am absolutely gutted he's gone. I wanted him to do the paso. He could have been better than Gough

I am sad Tuffers has gone because he didnt dance badly and he is a real character. Have to say Katya comes across as a really nice sort and I think I am even more sad about her going.

I thought they were turning into one of the better partnerships of the show and quite genuine with it too. I loved seeing the partnership grow rather than being 'already there' and I'm so disappointed. I hope she does Strictly next year.

I like Phil and wish he'd stayed for a couple more weeks but he hasn't gone way before his time so it's not too unfair. He was better during the show than Ricky G but the dance off was very close - either of them could have sneaked it and, to be fair, Phil's dance wasn't mistake free. He probably deserved to stay this week and maybe even another week after that but he was never going to get a breakthrough week (a la Gethin Jones) and suddenly emerge as a genuine contender so his time was running out.

Tuffers out. Something we used to hear quite a lot when he was batting.

Gutted.

He wasn't going to win, but he certainly wasn't the worse tonight.
