The first few week she gave an opinion as one who had taken part, now she seems to think she is a dance expert. But some of her remarks are too personal - hope they get rid of her

The thing is, because of what she said last week, now when she tries to be nice, she seems so insincere.

I think Alesha has done very well. I hope they keep her on the show for the next series.

Think you've hit the nail on the head there. After last week she has lost all credibility.

When she told Ricky she understood how it felt to go back into training after being in a dance off, I was tempted to throw a cushion at the tele. But hey, if she is willing to show more empathy after her comment last week, I am willing to take it in the spirit it was given

Whatever she does, says or does not say or does not do those who are against her will find it objectionable and she said pretty much that on the Ferne show. But for others, she's allowed her say just like the other judges. Sometimes they're blunt and sometimes they're sweet.

She appeared to have taken on board the comments made about her last week.

As one who voiced my dissatisfaction with her comments last week, I don't feel I can criticise her for appearing to show more empathy this week.

To be perfectly fair as an avid SCD fan from day dot I was sceptical about her abilities as a judge - but was more than prepared to give her a fair shot.

Alas over the last few weeks she has become so "up herself" and full of her own importance that she is coming across in a very bad light.

The "temper tantrum" last week over Craig Kelly really showed her bad side and yet the BBC didn't pull her up over it. Tonight again she showed blatant dislike of a contestant with Ricky Groves - she made a bit of a start on him as her next target to dismiss last week.

Alesha why why why are you behaving like some prima donna - you have been a contestant you are supposed to be the spokesperson for "us" the viewers and judge from a former contestant perspective, you are doing neither. Remember a few weeks in a competition learning to dance - albeit you did win - DOES NOT qualify you to attack and pick on the contestants the way you are doing - I feel you really need taking down a peg or two and for me roll on Darcey Bussell taking part - you will not then deem yourself to be Crown Princess of the judging panel.

Rant over - as I initially said I was more than prepared to give her a fair go - but you have really (in my eyes) let the brief down

Same no matter what she does, i still wont look at her in the same way as i did 3 weeks ago. Still flabbergasted at how cruel someone can be. I Will still watch Children In Need on Friday even though she is one of the presenters.

If I fly abroad 2 or 3 times a year and a steward came up and said "Hey, you seem to know about flying in an aeroplane, how about we kick the pilot out of his chair and you take the reigns.
Thats how I feel about the pointless comments Alesha makes. Just window dressing.
ng
Bizzarely, The same producers had the chance to inject some 'young blood' into the show tonight, but they bottled it.

Whenever Alesha dosen't like someone, she wrinkles her nose a bit as if she smells something bad. It gives her such a self-important air. Get rid I say, she's unprofessional.

Don't they all have their signature expressions though?

Len does that "smell something nasty thing", Craig has his "frog face", Bruno is one big expression....

Are you saying she should have no expression? A poker face?

Nah, you're thinking of Tess and her outfits with that.

No, I'm not suggesting she should have a poker face, but that particular expression is superior and condescending. This adds up to a somewhat negative overall impression of her professionalism.

Hm, well OK. I've not noticed it. But I don't pay obsessive attention to the judges' facial habits.

This adds up to a somewhat negative overall impression of her professionalism.
But the expressions of the other judges don't?

Personally, I think there are lots of things to critique Alesha about. But "Not liking the way she wrinkles her nose" - or whatever - seems kind of trivial as complaints go.

So, some people are saying that she's too bland, others are saying that she's too bitchy.

Have I got that right?

Personally, I don't care about tone - I care about content. I may be alone in this one, however.

Okay. Give me a clue. What did she say tonight that makes people say she can be snide?

Well, I could list all the complaints I have, but for the sake of brevity, I particularly chose this one mannerism because it highlights the condescending and superior attitude which is annoying so many people.

I really don't like her, but like you I don't know where this is coming from tonight. She seemed quite low key in her comments, in keeping with the mood of the show. I could do without the 'funness' of course and the usual 'you was' but that's just my pedantry and fondness for basic grammar from presenters on the Beeb.
