Nah, she said in a radio interview when the interviewer was saying that they have been asking all their quests what they were like in school, and Alesha said that she really wanted to pass her GCSES (she said she hated Science & Maths but liked Drama, Geography & English) and she was really dissapointed with them so she did a diploma is Sports or something hoping to then become a PE teacher. She is still a bright girl though.

Also when she was doing her exams i think uni wasnt as hard to get in as now, where now they are so strict with requirements etc..

Can I make a suggestion?

Start a weekly thread called 'Moan here about Alesha Week X' and get it made into a sticky by the mods so it is up near the weekly polls.

not sure about what it was like when Alesha wanted to go to uni, but the colleges i looked into when i wanted to do my A Levels wanted a grade C in English, Maths and Science if you wanted to do any A Levels there, regardless of subject. that was the general requirement for A Levels, unless there were extenuating circumstances.

She's covering for the fact she knows nothing. If you are not happy then stop spending time and money watching and voting for S H I T!

Sorry folks but I've watched it twice now (hubby at work last night and wanted to watch recording tonight) and didn't see any sign of snideness on Alesha's part. I don't know where that allegation has come from TBH.

I have been a critic of Alesha (especially last week) but credit where credits due, she did not say anything inappropriate this week IMO and that's all I ask of her - not to be unnecessarily nasty. She doesn't have to fall to the depths of Bruno (biggest bitch on the panel IMO) just because she's sitting next to him!

She always was a snide cow. I never liked her. I wanted Matt Di Angelo to win that year.

I guess it must take a snide cow to know a snide cow !!

Some of these posters really make me laugh, they are amongst some of the most intolerant and ignorant people i have come across, they complain when alesha tells the truth to craig, then do exactly the same themselves when they post......

It certainly doesnt seem to be harming SCD, ratings this week are the highest so far this series, probably because more people agreed with Alesha than the small minded individuals who didn't

As for the quote above, you are quite obviously a bad loser.. Matt Di Angelo completely screwed up one performance and yet got the sympathy vote to keep him in to the final...... you need to let your anger go, it's only a tv show and it was 2 years ago. get over it

I think she's very biased. Her overmarking of her favourites and grudging praise for those she dislikes is becoming more and more evident each week. The girl is out of her depth and unbelivable for the viewing public..get rid!

Alesha's favouritism pales into insignificance next to Bruno's - so I don't see why she should be penalised for something he does much more blatantly. Bear in mind also that the judges are not entirely independently-minded: they work to to the producers ...

yelsel - I completely agree.

Buddy - ditto.

Buddy, your thread title is much too long. Why not just call it "Snides Corner"

(Editor's note: the remark above cannot be deemed snide, it is merely a straightforward insult. Or at least it would be if it weren't so true)

If you know you're not going to like a thread, then stay out of it. That way you won't be offended and we won't have to put up with your self-righteous nonsense.

That "them and us" syndrome again, eh qwertyqueen? If you want a board exclusively for people who share your opinion, you'll need to start your own I'm afraid.
