I lost all respect for Len Goodman when he dumped out Martina in week 1 but now ... |

I've always HATED the dance-offs since they first became part of the show. It was to try and stop the public taking criminally bad dancers to their hearts and voting them to the final. However the show seems to think the public are stupid, all it meant was voting more for the dead wood and sending 2 with some ability to the dance off.
What really bugs me is the whole dancing again bit, the judges, like the public vote on what they see first time, surely their decision to get rid of a contestant should be based on this too. Yes, I'm going to say it, but in previous dance-offs I don't think I ever disagreed with Arlene's picks. Alesha is sweet, and she's the "judge of what the public like", so why should she even have a vote here? Erm... rant over. |

Which brings me to the topic... hahahahaha.
I've always had a feeling that as soon as Tuffers ended up in the bottom 2, he would be eliminated (unless he was up against someone really dire). Maybe it's the old rule of noone who appeared on a different reality show being allowed on strictly. |

But they applied a different criteria to Ali and Brian.
On that occasion they took into account past performance and potential. Phil was a far more natural dancer than the rather wooden and hunched up Ricky G. Len had no choice but to save Ricky G last night if he kept to the same criteria as he did in the Z/A dance off. |

I feel sorry for Bruno.
If Craig and Aleesha vote for a different couple then Bruno's vote is meaningless and they may as well jump straight to Len. Regardless of who Bruno votes for Len's decision is what counts. |

If eagle-eyed Craig said RG and Erin did their dance-off more cleanly, I'm not one to disagree with him. Good thing that Len also agreed with him for once.

I was very sad to see Tuffers go : he has really improved and I thought it was a lovely Smooth.
Ricky should surely go next week; whereas I felt Phil had the ability to carry on for a few more weeks and would this have possibly condemned the perceived better dancers to the dance off. Good opportunity to get rid . Tuffers ' bad luck to get a decent score and be middle of the table on the night they were a dancer down and Laila got the sympathy vote . Of course Ricky may well yet scupper all their plans and get to the last few . Judge's preferred last 4 : Ricky w,Ali,jade and Chris ( maybe they wouldn't mind Natalie or Laila) and they will work hard to ensure Ricky and Ali get there . Now Jade may be out and Laila will obviously struggle this week so who knows . |
