- Really sad about Jade's injury. I hope it's not too serious.

- Also glum about Laila's spained ankle.

- Didnt miss Brucie at all, I thought Tess & Claudia did a great job tonight.

- LOVED the hip hop dancers!!!!!

Isis I agree completely with everything you've said. Also loved Ali and Brian, they looked so in luuuurve!! And enjoyed Brian and Kristina's dance, although it verged on porno at times ..

Tonight does leave the competition tied up by Ricky Nipple and ballet girl Ali. Presumably Jade's injury is worse than mere soft tissue damage, and it's difficult to see her continuing to compete with any bony or tendon damage, so she'll be out by Wednesday at the latest. Equally, Laila's is likely to be soft tissue swelling 'only' but that will mean at least 48 hours lay off from any weight bearing exercise and limited thereafter, so can't see her being up to scratch by next Saturday. It's looking increasingly like a Ricky/Ali/Natalie borefest of a final!

Never known a series like it for injuries. May be it's more competitive than we all thought!! Felt so sorry for Jade she looked in dreadful pain, Ian too looked shocked. as for Laila I thought she was brave to go ahead, in hindsight perhaps she should have rested it if she could. It was so sad to watch. But what a gent Anton was for lifting her off and he did it so gently. Thought they was something wrong when they came out for the stairs. He kept watching her when she came down the stairs and in the line up he was looking concerned.

Wasn't sure if Brian's and Kristina's dance was a gymnastics routine or dance. My life she has long legs!!! and boy do they move!!

The only glimmer for Leila is if she has ballroom next week, which I think she will have surely?
As for Jade, I am very doubtful she'll be back, knee injuries are rarely straightforward.

Yeah it's a threeway between Ricky W/Ali and Natalie C I fear! Fingers crossed for Chris to emerge like a phoenix from the middle of them all! (unless Laila recovers quickly)

There was a bit too much gusset flashing for my liking.

I didn't really enjoy the show at all tonight. I think the news of Jade's injury and seeing her so distraught completely overshadowed everything-else for me. I sincerely hope that she makes it next week not only for her sake but, because I think poor Ian will feel so guilty. The show did seem very dis-jointed and as someone-else posted, that is Bruce's job and doddery or not he does seem to make SCD run a lot smoother than it did tonight. I thought Claudia did a fantastic job in the "Tesspit" and if Tess decides to stay in the US then we've got a more than able replacement. As for replacing Bruce, that (imho) will be a much more difficult job.

Yes I thought the hip hop dancers were great. The guy singing nights in white satin was brilliant.

Thought tess was amazing especially when she said to the judges, about the cape. And Claudia was really good would like to see more of her on Saturday.

I felt so sorry for Jade and Laila
but all in all it was still a good show.
