Hi Bobby'sgirl I would be very interested to see the source regarding Ricky annoying some of the others backstage. Only because I noticed that Phil seemed to be quite off with both the Rickys last night. His "cheeky chappy" persona dropped and the sportsman who hates losing seemed to appear and didn't want to talk to the guy who knocked him out or the strongest competitor in the competition. It made me wonder if all is not backstage between the SCD family again this year.
I'm racking my brains to remember when he offended the others after he scored highly in a dance and really can't think when it was. |

It was the 2nd or 3rd week - he scored nines across the board, then when all the Celebrities were having the "Tess" chat - he said that he made loads of mistakes and would have to try harder - he was points ahead of everyone else, it was crass and thoughtless

I thought the whole of the show was very subdude. BUT:
Bruce was ill = major change in presenting and way show was run. Jade had suffered a seemingly very serious injury = it might threaten her whole career, and from the other dancers prospective, could it happen to them as well?!? Lalia had fallen and hurt herself. No the Tesspit (or Claudiapit) is not going to be the same as normal and all happy and jokey. They were probably concerned for Jade, concerned for Lalia, and concerned for themselves ultimately! |

Far from a lack of sympathy/concern, the crowd in Tess' room looked a bit 'gobsmacked' (for want of a better word).
I would hazard a guess that they still hadn't had word back from the hospital as to Jade's progress, yet they still had to provide a show and dance to the best of their ability. There were the usual suspects trying to cheer everybody up but top emotions (I'm guessing) were shock, concern and 'what happens now?' On top of all that, with Brucie absent for the first time, there would have been an air of 'winging it' for everybody. I thought everyone handled the circumstances brilliantly with all that was going on. |

I'm not sure what 'popped' in Jade's knee but if it had been a full on disoclation she would have been taken swiftly to A & E. I think UK Athletics would want her to see one of their recommended specialists and then, depending on the outcome of that, will tell Jade whether or not she can dance again.

I never thought I would see the day that celebrity news was top of my list. |

I don't think that will be her priority - and rightly so but for all of her fans (me included) it's a nightmare waiting for any info.
