Are you Laila? Do you seriously think Jade's career threatening injury was unfortunate for Laila or are you having a joke?

Perhaps you can explain it to the rest of us? Or is it you've just made an assumption?

Perhaps if Jade hadn't been injured Laila could have tried to not dance this week so, in that scenario, it would have been unfortunate for her.

LOL – no I’m not Laila.

You misunderstand me. I meant that its hard to feel sorry for Laila and her sprained ankle when Jade’s injury is more serious and with such dreadful consequences. So in that sense, it is unfortunate for Laila.
For jade of course it is devasting, you would need a heart of stone not to be moved to tears at her interview on Saturday. Jade was my favourite, and as much as I’d love to see her back on Saturday, I’d much rather see her compete at the Olympics. After SCD is Saturday night entertainment, athletics is her life

This is what I meant.

Have you read through this thread?
It is totally bunkers. They can tell who likes who by facial expressions. It is turning into Big Brother. I wouldn't like to be on trial with these people in the Jury.

I feel partly responsible for this whole 'the other celebs don't like Laila' theory, as I mentioned it first.

I actually only did this to try and give an alternate view to the 'anton and laila conjured this up as a devious plan to not to do the dance and get through' theory.

For the record Laila and Anton are the only couple I'm supporting on the show (I might get the urge to pick another if/when they leave). However, I like to think I'm a well balanced enough individual to not think the rest of the world will love them too hence my theory.

Maybe the other celebs love her maybe they don't. I'm sure we'll find out their views on her injury in due course.

According to a thread on the BBC site, one report states that Laila "twisted" her ankle, so it isn't even a sprain.

And what I meant was that it is a shame that Laila didn't feel that way ie see her sprain in perspective. So what I consider was unfortunate for Laila was her attitude. She knew that Jade had a serious injury and others had danced even though they were injured – for weeks - without the sob story and continued to do so on the very same day she was hurt. She overdramatised the whole thing. There were 3 other people with injuries on Saturday, including the person that left.

Her act is as see through as Craig’s begging for Blackpool and Natalie’s story of aiming for a point or two more each week. It’s a tactic but not everyone is going to approve of it and it is bound to be commented on.

When I sprained my ankle and went to the doc I had to go with one shoe on the good foot and a loose slipper on the bad one. There was no way I could get a shoe on - my ankle and instep had swelled so much.

people do have different pain thresholds Lalia might have a lower one than a lot of people or her injury may be more severe than we know maybe there will be an update on the injuries tonight on ITT

I know when I broke my ankle in 3 places I didn't even realise I'd done it and managed to ski halfway down a mountain with it that way

What do you mean by that? I'm obviously the only one who saw Laila cry when Zoe was in a dance-off. I certainly didn't get the impression of any animosity between the two of them.

These accusations on the basis of hearsay and assumptions is getting ridiculous.

I know this is a stupid question, and one that has prob been mentioned earlier up in this thread, but how exactly did Laila hurt her ankle?

I'm thinking just the one step or so because if she went down an entire staircase she'd probably have a lot more than just a sprained/twisted ankle to contend with.

Are they definitely doing a ballroom?

If so, I bet she still wears the bandage...

No, no, no! She'll prove that she is more talented than everybody thinks. She'll use crutches next time and will get 9s and 10s from the judges.

...dont forget the neck brace which she'll need to wear due to their training this week concentraing on the UPPER half of her body (instead of her feet)

I'm sure Anton won't mind to hold her upper halves for her.

When I sprained my ankle I never used the word sprain I used the expression "twisetd my ankle".

It is a very common term for a sprain of the ankle.

The women who do the dresses seemed upset for her. Maybe they like making her dresses?
