Sounds interesting, Us fans could hopefully getting a decent new album 'blackout' style!!! I really really hope it is

from Breatheavy.com

Britney is already working on new music!

Producer Sean Garrett ("Toy Soldier," "Hot As Ice") revealed to MTV.com he's currently writing new tracks for Britney!

"I have to take the same type of approach I take on the hit records I write: I can't rush it," Garrett said.

"I'm a ****ing superstar artist/writer/producer, and I will give my fans what they want and what they're asking me to give them: a phenomenal album. I'm the underdog, man, I can't go wrong. I got nothing to lose. Underdogs can't lose."

Britney fans love cocky! Can't wait for the new material!

Am I the only one who wants a Britney album, similiar to her older stuff, not the really old teen pop stuff, but like Toxic, I'm a slave 4 u, and everytime, stuff what her voice isn't messed with so much it doesn't sound human.

I think Britney should go with a new sound like she did with Blackout...but a different sound from that...but it has to be of the quality of Blackout. It is one of the best pop albums in a long time!!!

I can't wait for Britney to release her next studio album, it will be interesting to see what direction she takes takes. To be fair BOTH 'Blackout' and 'Circus' were great albums, so NOW she has to come back with something even better.

I just hope there are some great pop tunes, all the songs showcase Britney's vocal talents, and that there are at least one or two heartfelt ballads.
ALSO i'm hoping the right decisions will be made by Britney and her team in regards to choosing which song should be released. She definitely needs to release a ballad to show her versatility as an artist and also a more vunerably, stripped down side to her, something in the lines of 'Everytime' would be wonderful.

Her next album MUST be promoted by Britney very well, and she needs to do a LOT more TV performances, as well as hiring a new team of choreographers, her dancing needs to be improved.

I agree, I want Britney back in controll I mean Britney can do a great album on her own without larry look at how blackout did fantastic. And she defo needs to up her promo which she lacked for circus she needs to be doing the tv performances ect. I really hope the new album if true is blackout 2.0 it's what we want.

I found an interesting news on wilklipidia Danja is apparently writing a new track for britney called monster, due 2010 but you know how wilklipidia can be edited by anyone. But Danja has done fantastic songs so it be a great scoop for britney to have him again I also love a collabration with madonna again, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Great news but i don't want the album rushed. Another good thing about Blackout was that we waited about 4/5 years for it and you could tell by the pure quality of it it didn't seem rushed at all.

I just wish Britney wouldn't keep putting out albums so quick. It's bad enough she is releasing A singles collection with a poor tracklisting.

I think she should release the next album late 2010, early 2011. Christina will probably dominate 2010 with her dance sound so Britney could dominate 2011.

Yeah. And i am sure it wouldn't hurt for Brit to take a year off.
Kinda like how Rihanna took a year off leaving Beyonce to take over. Now Beyonce is reaching the end of I am sasha fierce ERA, Rihanna has now come back.

I might replace my Blackout album. It never left my stereo from it's day of release till about May of last year. It's a little worn out.

You need to buy blackout it's britneys best album to date and IMO best pop album fir a while.

I think she should release in early 2011 then we can have another tour around October/November. I d live britbey to have a similar stage to the onyx hotel one, I mean the circus stage is good but she can't dance as good as she use to cause she has to keep moving to different sides and can really only stay in one place for a max of 30 seconds.

And yeah she should release a ballad cause britneys ballads are always Fantastic quality

I'm with you on this one, I want another Britney album like her older stuff too.

I wasn't a big fan of Blackout, there are a couple of songs on the album I like but most of the album I don't like. Its my least favourite Britney album.

I don't like all the stuff put over her voice, her songs sound so much better when they aren't like that. She has an amazing voice, so they should let her voice be heard on the songs.

I'm hoping her next album will be more like her older music!

I think its a shame the Singles Collection is just all her songs already released. Its meant to be a celebration of Britney being around for 10 years and we only get one new song- 3, which is awesome, but it would be nice if there were some other new songs.

Hopefully a new album will be out end of next year/ beginning of 2011.

I want another In The Zone, she was actually writing SOME of the songs herself back then and had a lot of input. The album produced Toxic and Everytime.... her two best singles imo!

She needs a serious musical overhaul. She comes across as a half-arsed popstar these days and needs to up her game!

Also I think once britneys back on a single stage and has Wade robson back as her cheographer Britney will be kicking ass danceing again, her new cheographer has really failed her IMO, cause there's no way a great dancer which Britney truely is can go sloppy like she has in this circus era, there's just no oomph to the danceing.

So hopefully a new era of music will = The Danceing queen britney

He produced 'Telephone' Lady Gaga ft Beyonce, a song Britney turned down!

I thought Blackout was very good, but had some duff moments. In The Zone was great. Agree with an earlier comment, Britney does seem a bit half-arsed at the moment, not singing live at concerts etc.

She's been lypsyncing from the begining it's nothing new. And her show is wicked.

I can not wait for This new album!!! I think and hope it's gonna be the best album next year
