would love it to be Shane but I doubt it. He'll have committments for England's 2010/11 Ashes tour.

He would be and he'd embrace it I'm sure but next year is out of the question cos of the return Ashes tour which he will be commentating on for sure. Maybe Freddie will be a good choice for next year. He'll be fit for one dayers but during the Strictly run, the test series (which he won't play cos obviously he's retired) will also be getting ready to run which means that he has enough time to get to Oz and acclimatise even if he gets far into the competition.

It's more likely to be former skipper Michael Vaughan.

Unlikely I'd have thought, given his history of chronic knee trouble.

No chance of getting a current test player it's the Ashes tour (Flintoff wants to play the ODI over there) next winter so no commentators either.

Freddie would be another to add to the SCD injury list , his knee would suffer badly .

I'm hoping they'll get Matthew Hoggard next year -- or maybe Nasser Hussain.

Dominic Cork would be a good choice. It has to be someone who no longer plays for England so James Anderson etc.. no chance.

I am sure i heard that Ronnie Irani had been approached for next year.

He would fit the bill as he is a morning Talksport presenter based in London.
