Albums I Buy
I don't know why, but with all the albums I've ever bought, I've hated each one. Then, after listening to them once more, I love them to death. Is anybody else like that? A good example was when I bought the 'Avril Lavigne' album; Let Go.
I listened to it once and greatly regretted buying. However, I still listen it today, and it's one of my favourite albums. I recently purchased the 'Evanescence' Album; Fallen. I was very unhappy about it, now I love it. Is it something about the music? That it's supposed to grow on you the more you listen to it? Of course, I immediately liked the feature tracks, but the new ones are always not to my liking, then eventually they are. Has anybody else ever experienced this with an album they've bought; where they at first hate the selection of songs, then love them and can't get enough of them? Sean. Formerly 'Syndicate'. |

Yes this happens to me quite often, although I wouldn't go so far as to say I hated them first listen but certainly regretted the purchase and then grew to love them.
Here's a few that spring to mind... I'm sure there are many more. Bruce Dickinson - Skunkworks Nuno Bettencourt - Schizophonic Steve Vai - Sex and Religion Roger Waters - Radio Kaos |
