I quite liked Natalie before the series began. Her "Pollyanna on crack" act is baffling and very irritating now.
Great description. I definitely find Natalie the most irritating.

Ali who didn't cry got very little sympathy and had to dance again. She showed grit with no sign of a simper.
That is when I began to like her. I didn't even realise her injury was that painful until Monday as she handled herself so well. And then I liked the fact that she didn't harp on about the fact that she missed some training the following week because of it.

Me too.

But now *tsarina* has mentioned them, I am starting to twitch irritably when I see Ricky Groves' glasses.

Yep, and I bore that in mind when Leila stopped dancing this week.
I kind of disliked Laila for not getting on with it like Ali did.

The voice in my head kept saying, "come on you wuss, it's only a few minutes, you don't have to do a whole West End Musical. Grin and bear it."

And I am now irritated by Laila.

Let's have some objective criteria for annoyingness! For me it's:

Someone who manipulates the public for votes with their background & private life

Someone who thinks they're the bees knees and think they have the right to win.

Someone who wouldn't know what true grit was if it came up and kicked them in the shin.
Using those criteria, just about the only celebs who come out favourably are Jill, Ramps and Gethin!

It is merely my opinion which I have stated on a public forum.
Yee gods, are we only supposed to write positive comments now? If so, I'm off!!

Contestants signed up to a show where many of the public will judge them on their personality as much as their dancing ability.

Besides, I bet I'm only saying what a lot of people think.

My opinion stands.

Yes I agree she looks like a bull in a china shop.
I totally agree with everything you have said. - she too keen too earnest loves every dance - too good to be true.
Gets right up my nose. Hope she is next to go.

Yes and all that was said was that she'd stubbed her toe - no mention on either the live show or ITT thats she'd stubbed and dislocated her toe!!

Craig irritated me beyond belief. Now he is gone I am all calm and mellow.

Having said that Chris does annoy me a bit with all the 'yeah baby' carry on. How old is he? He is like a man-child.

Love 'Pollyanna on crack'! Brilliant!

I like Ali, she is a bit jane austen-ish but I liked the way she still tried when she was injured.

Someone who thinks they're the bees knees and think they have the right to win.

BTW Ali does NOT simper. When she was injured she did her dance twice. Her only pain killer the second time was a softer pair of shoes When asked about her leg on ITT the next Tuesday she said. It'll be all right for the weekend - it has to be all right.
Ok my criteria for being annoying:

Anyone who gets seriously annoyed about their marks - I mean like yelling at a judge or bitching in the papers - the people whom I've wanted to kick have all had that in common - step forward Jan Ravens, Dom Littlewood and Rav Wilding (Christine Bleakley got a black mark from me for getting a tad precious about her qs comments) - I tend to go off anyone who has the misfortune to be partnered with a pro who throws strops about their marks on a regular basis

Anyone who cries at the drop of a hat - Lisa Snowdon got on my nerves slightly for that

Anyone who is over marked chronically and persistantly - I know it's not their fault but it does put me off a contestant if that happens to them but anyone who buys into it gets a black mark.

I don't mind if someone brings their private life into it and I find showmances interesting it wouldn't necessarily make me vote for someone I didn't already but I can't understand why so many are dead set against them.

Arrogance is a hard quality to qualify - funily enough it's only ever put me off a pro - Brendan last year.

I find Natalie Cassidy annoying too. It is unfair cos she's not that bad she just annoys the heck out of me. She must drive poor Vincent nuts.

Didn't realise she'd dislocated it as well?! Blimey, even more respect going out to that Paso now.

I'm not a Laila fan, but to be fair, she didn't get time to adjust to her injury, unlike Ali who'd stubbed her toe 2 days prior.

If Laila does use the injury to whine about why she can't do her dance 100%, then I'd find it annoying.

Until then, it's only Natalie C that I truly find OTT and insufferable now, despite liking her the first few weeks.

I have a general dislike of adults who act like children, I find it a bit creepy. Chris sort of went under my radar when Craig was there but now he is gone I am noticing Chris's personality more.

No one has got on my nerves nearly as much as Lisa Snowdon did last year.

She brought out the worst in me.

You don't say

I found Craig K. annoying (but he's gone now), but for the rest none of them bother me.

I'm glad you've seen a different side to me this year

Did I redeem myself?

Now that the insufferably boring Craig has gone I don't find anyone particularly irritating.

I am, however, totally immune to whatever charm Ricky W may have about him

*runs in wearing my sparkly pink tin hat*

Me too, especially considering I didn't even have a favourite! Kelly also got on my nerves too. Women who flirt with anything in trousers rack me off big time.

*runs away very fast and waits to be flamed*

At last someone who sees him the way I do. The 'Yeah Baby' and 'Team Cola' hoodies and T-shirts just add to the general feeling of irritation I get when he appears. I just get the sense that he isn't as nice as he would have us all believe. Oh, and that paso was ridiculous.
