Upgraded to 1.00.11 (or whatever it is) and now I can't find the non-freesat mode option!! Any clues?

Sorry if this is buried in another upgrade thread somewhere but it might help others find the answer if it has it's own thread...

You have to do a manual tune before the option shows up.

Do a manual tune and it will reappear.

What extra channels do you get on a manual search? Are they the free ones that you can get on the sky box?Has anyone got a list of them?

See List of free-to-air channels at 28E
Not quite up-to-date but gives you an idea.

I've been told that these are more authoritative
Eurobird
Astra

You can get some of what's on Sky but not everything.

This is nothing to do with your home network or internet, I think it's to do with channels that are grouped by broadcaster, or bouqet, or "network".
