Well Im not his biggest fan anyway but cant imagine him and Tess working well together at all. Plus I dont think he knows enough about dancing to host the show well. As much as Brucie annoys us, he does know his dancing.

A "no" from me.... his cliche ridden nostalgic whimsy Ive come to find irritating over time....

...and fans are you aware that he has a TERRIBLE reputation in the comedy world..... not the cute and fluffy guy he likes to project to the public...

I take as I find - I would love to see all the SCD pros, celebs, judges and presenters do "Amarillo."

Now that could top the charts and raise megabucks for CIN.

I'd buy it.

That'd be Vernon Kay, not Peter.

Peter Kay is the comedian who sings "is this the way to Amerillo?"

Vernon Kay is Tess' husband and presents Family Fortunes.

Oh Ignazio - you were doing so well today - those brownie points were mounting by the hour!

And then you endorse Peter Kay to host Strictly?

You can go off people you know!

Vernon Kay is Tess' hubby. Lanky, thin and handsome guy 35 years old, from Bolton, used to have long hair, now presents family fortunes and is a funny and decent presenter.

Peter Kay, however, is a short rotund and bland-looking guy from farnworth near Bolton, aged 36 and used to be funny on the channel 4 show 'Phoenix Nights' before he ruined 'Show me the way to Amarillo' by Tony Christie for charidee.

You've got yer Kay's Konfused love!

PS. I cant believe Vernon is a year younger than Peter Kay, Peter Kay looks like he could be Vernon's dad!

Who are you kidding?

I know it's not very PC but Peter Kays 'Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice' was pure class. I actually think I preferrred 2 up 2 down and R Wayne to Geraldine.

Oh please - I split my sides just thinking about it.

I love, love, love Peter Kay - and I maintain than an SCD Amarillo would storm the charts.

I also love Ricky Gervais - does that put me beyond the pail.
