She's such a delight.
The unscripted humour, you feel she's your friend and she's just saying what she thinks and she makes me laugh and sometimes I just want to hug her for being so silly and funny.

No robotic sound bites like the empty headed Tess

She annoyed the hell out of me, when she pops up she looks like she is constantly dying for a piss.

She's passable as a presenter, but hugely overrated on these boards.

Other people think other things. She is completely unique and absolutely right for Strictly. Claudia is delightful, quirky and has her own language. She's kind, natural and extremely funny. I loved her Masterclass with Len on ITT when they were recreating The John Sargeant Tango - even more hilarious than the original. What a star.

Thought Claude was simply wonderful on Saturday. No cue cards and she had a real connexion with the dancers/celebs.

I laughed so hard, so many times. We were on constant live rewind. The secret of here success was that she was just herself and didn't try to be something different.

We watch ITT every night jsut to hear what she's going to say next.

I have to say the difference between a journalist and the often vacuous MS Daly was BLINDINGLY obvious. Nice to look at but a bit of an ornament with little susbstance.

As a producer it was a golden opportunity to see what it looked like without Brucie. An you know, hate him or love him, he was a big miss on Saturday. If anybody should be worried for their job it should be Tess. Make Claude permanent.

I know some have criticised her. She just needs to remember her clone Davina McCall. Matchless in Big Brother, but fell apart in her own show. SHe has made ITT her own and nobody could take it off her. Well DOne!!

Spot on! I can never decide if she is trying to be a presenter or a comedienne. Still we are all different and "one mans meat" and all that. I just don't rate her as either.

Claude was so much better backstage. Genuine humour and reaction rather than the somewhat forced Tess.

While I don't agree with the first bit of your post, the second bit really made me laugh!

I guess it's the way she tends to fidget and rush her words like she needs to be somewhere else.

But I still like her.

Sorry- With claudia the word "like" is never enough.
Everything must be "loved"

I love her!

I love Claudia she is much more natural than Tess in her delivery and style and genuinely witty and intelligent which makes a welcome change on dumbed down tv these days.

A lovely change from Tess' awkward and patronising style. Tess has great delivery of scripted lines, but Claudia's style suits the intimacy of backstage much more than Tess does.

Claudia was absolutely perfect for Tess's pit role. she just has a genuine warmth and rapport with all couples. I guess as a strictly fan she must have her favourite (and least favourite) couples, but you would never know it which is a real credit to her style. My vote...Claudia for Tess's role, and Marian Keyes for ITT

I thought Claudia was very good on Saturday. A bit wobbly at the beginning but she came into her own. I must admit I like her more on ITT, it seemed a bit weird seeing her there on Saturday night but she did a very good job. She was brilliant with Jade, her empathy moved me to tears. I felt so sorry for Jade on Saturday and Claude was so genuine in her sympathy for her. A true natural in front of camera.
Tess I have always found wooden and false and displays no real connection with the contestants and professional dancers.

She was PERFECT in that role! She clearly loves the show and I think she genuinley loves to chat to the dancers. No cue cards, no smarmy/patronising comments to the dancers.....just lovely.

Tess meanwhile is just a robot and (like her cheesy other half Vernon) is just someone who looks good but cant think for herself (helped by autocue at all times)

I know what you mean, I really like her and think she's really funny but I can well imagine some people sitting watching on Saturday night thinking 'oh my word, who is this mad woman they got to replace Tess'

I like Vernon, I met him in a club once and even though I'd rather drunkenly gone up to him to ask a pretty inane question, he didn't seem to mind and was really lovely.

I too really enjoyed Claudia. She's very natural, but I wish someone would give her some deportment training. Her slouching, slumped shoulders and fidgetting, as someone has already stated, made it look like she desparately needed to pee.

Work on your posture, Claudia.
I give her an 8

She needs to work on what she wants to be when she grows up.

My mum can't stand her. She doesn't know why, she just said she couldn't stand her.
