We must be thankful for small mercies.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ls-orders.html

So as well as the nonsense with the cars, (I wonder to get an acceptable sized dressing room, had they arranged for her to use Mark Thompson's office?)

Would the BBC also have obliged with her usual requests?

Cristal champagne; One box of bendy straws; One special attendant to dispose of used chewing gum; Tea service for eight; A Honey Bear pack of honey; Two air purifiers; Puppy and Kittens.

And would we want her on a ballroom dancing programme plugging her CD?

I really enjoyed the Jersey Boys and thought the hip hop dancing was pretty good so not at all bothered that she didn't show up.

I know

Not just the fact she requested them in the first place but then to have them taken off when they didn't suit

Why would she want to be on a classy show when she can sing to that mob on X-factor?

I think the BBC had the better act in the end, ITV can keep her

The Jersey Boys were great, the show is too. Apparently Mr Simon Cowell made it clear to her in no uncertain terms that she was to do his show not SCD. She has already recorded her section for next week's X Factor - so much for it being a live show. What is the appeal of this ridiculous woman, yes I know she writes and sings well but hey ....

I'm glad I'm not the only one ...... she's one of those "squawky" singers who seems to think that it's best to sing 20 notes in the place where normal singers would sing just one or two.

I went on a tour of BBC centre, and apparently, although they do all those things, they bill them back to the celeb.

I always smile at Beyonce's use of a dozen words in a line of a lyric where three would do.

Ah yes - what I would describe as "the Shakespeare Effect" (why use 10 words where a bucketful will do).

As a licence-payer I'm glad that the BBC didn't waste my money on a choice of 2 limousines or a Roller, (with or without butterflies), for a neurotic fat lass with an average voice and obvious psychological problems.

I can't stand Mariah Carey. I'd much rather see The Jersey Boys and those Hip Hop Dancers any day to the over inflated ego that is Mariah. Cowell and his screechy, screaming mob of an audience are welcome to her IMO.

The Jersey Boys and the Dancers were fabulous. My favourite guest singer/dancers performance by far this series.

I'm another one who dislikes her style of singing. Saturday's show was traumatic enough for me without Ms Carey and her inflated ego.

I can't stand her and her constant demands. What irritates me even more is that Simon and Co (I know this is X Factor, but she is appearing there next week, so anyone who meets these demands), she's a singer, not the Pope. Pfttt. I don't care if she's been in the industry for X amount of years, she (along with other 'divas') should not have the right to treat people like sh*t.

Ahem. I'm glad she's not on Strictly next week.

Sorry to disagree with everyone but I love Mariah and her diva ways, i dont think she wouldve gone on the beeb anyway because they couldnt supply all her demands unlike ITV and Simon Cowell.

I'm sure they could've supplied all her demands....but why should they?

Cowell is a fool if he indulges the crazy whims of this mad-woman.

Stencil Butterflies on the Rolls Royce? Get a life love!

Mariah Carey is so far up her own backside, she could clean her teeth from the inside.

I'm just glad she didn't appear because I hate her screeching.

I watch X-Factor on Sundays () and I will be skipping the start of it next week to avoid the lovely Mariah (and Susan Boyle).

I don't believe for one minute she pulled out on Simon's orders, that simply can't be true.
