Now fair play to her, she had a really good voice, but she has basicly done well because she looked so rough.

She lost the plot a bit at first, so maybe she isnt cut out for the music buisness??

Bless her though, Im sure she is a sweety, but I thought her live performance on BGT was rubbish.

I'm not excited either & have never been over on BGT. But i don't detract from her having a real good voice & she deserves her stardom, it's just that her music genre is not my cup of tea.

It is good that she has got over her breakdown. I am looking forward to hearing her voice again and I hope she does well. Good for her.

I'm not excited. She's ridiculously overrated.

Her voice is spectacularly average and if she hadn't waddled onto the BGT stage looking like the back end of a bus then no-one would've even noticed her.

Some have commented on the underwhelmed response from the audience her name was announced.

Susan's album will be very successful here and around the world, particularly in America, but if anything her popularity here is less than in many other places. She only got 20% of the vote in the BGT final.

I often wonder if she had walked in looking like katherine Jenkins, would she have got the same amount of attention??

No.

I'm not excited in the least and question why she has to be there at all.

Go check her 1st audition on youtube, BGT. Where have you been? Even Obama's heard her sing. That performance proved that judges shouldn't judge a book by its' cover.

I wish Susan every success, those who got preview copies of her new album yesterday are all rating it highly. Yes I do look forward to seeing her on X Factor and also the special Christmas programme on her. The biggest pre-selling album figures ever, not bad? including the USA

She seems to have taken to her new lifestyle quite well, - my OH saw her on a flight last week, and her poor assistant was working flat out....

The ony reason for her initial success was the massive disconnect between what people expected from her based on her looks and background and how she sang at the first audition.

She does not have a world class voice

She just has a voice that was better than people expected when they first saw her

Her performance of Memory at the BGT semi-final was so out of tune as to be painful - but she still got praise

Her single is really quite embarrassing

She is the sort of singer who would do well in local amdram - but that is her level

Particularly in the USA. It's the USA pre-sales that have made the biggest contribution to those figures.

I'm not bothered about her or Mariah Carey so needless to say I'll be avoiding the first half of the show.
Week after should be good if rumours are true it's Alicia Keys and Rihanna. Looking forward to Alicia more.
