I was excited about her when I saw the audition on BGT and I'm certainly not now. Average voice and the kind of singer I wouldn't even stay in a bar to listen to.

I get fed up with everyone knocking subu becuase shes not some anorexic waif flipping her baps out miming to some computer generated kiddie pop choon.

Shes one of ours, WE found her, WE should be backing her and looking after her and not let the Yanks take the credit for one of ours even if shes not some peoples tastes.

No think not.

yes actually i would, not being that shallow appearance doesnt come in to it, shes one of ours, we found her, why lets the yanks take all the credit. If she pulls in that many crowds we should think of her as an asset not hand her over to the first bidder because shes not what the media dictates celebs should be.

Over hyped and another of Cowells pet projects that he likes to ram down peoples throats.............oh and she has a new album out for Cowell to sell

She's overhyped to an insane degree. Good luck to her, but I never have and never will understand the desperate pants-wetting the mere mention of her name creates.

Not in the least bit excited, to be honest. I can't say I hate her, I just think she is completely average singing wise and as others have said, her claim to fame was her looks.
I will be turning the tv off when her performance comes on.

When something I don't fancy comes on tv it would never occur to me to switch off, I change channel till I find some other mindless rubbish to occupy my time. Does that make me sad?

I think her voice is actually about average but I agree with the point about nobody noticing her if she'd looked glamorous. She didn't perform particularly well after her first audition though and I'm distinctly underwhelmed at the thought of her performing on XF.

That'll be a good time to load the dishwasher methinks.

Basic answer BORING - they need some proper stars on the show not the person that came 2nd on BGT

Good luck to her, I cant imagine being laughed at and sniggered at all my life. I wouldn't be able to stand up in a room never mind perform on a stage. It seems nothing was learned at the first audition people are still so cruel.

I don't mind her being there...but I think Laura White is more deserving of a place seeing as she was actually on the show and just released a single (and I'm not a Laura fan).

....but of course Laura isn't signed to Simon's label.

I'm not even vaguely excited about seeing her.

In her defence she is slightly less irritating than Leona.

I actually see no point in whatever or whoever the filler is as I watch the show for the contestants and what is happening to them, not for who is pushing their career.

Will she actually be singing though? Didn't she have a prerecorded piece on AGT or something like that?

Not excited, I've nothing against her, I just don't like her voice much.

I mean we have had JLS on the xfactor, and they came second, so I dont think its anything against her for that,

I just dont particually like Su Bo, I think if anything she has had special treatment for her looks, which isnt really fair to anyone.

If she was glam, obviously there would have been less of a fuss, but if anything its patronising for people to think that somone that isnt good looking cant sing.

Agreed; and Rhdian came second (complete fix, mind) and I'd be delighted to see him again on XF.

I loved SuBo's first audition but after that she didn't perform particularly well at all; in fact there were some really awful tuning issues. I'll probably pop to the loo while she's on next week!

I have never got the hype about Sue Boyle at all??? Simon Cowell had to rush her off to America,(obviously this added to her melt down,) it was too much too soon, for anybody but to a lady who has been made fun of in the past and lived a lonely life before with just a cat for company what was he thinking?? she has a good voice , but spectacular no way(then again Cowell said Cheryl Cole sang "incredible" after that fiasco on Xfactor so Sue bo must be out of this world to him!!)i cant believe how much i have gone off this man in the last year , he is coming across as pathetic, very rich but still pathetic!!! also when he has done with the Hype of Sue Boyle(and moved onto advertising the twins all over) i hope he has someone there to pick up the pieces after.

She sang unexpectedly well the first time but since then has not come up to scratch even her pre-record on AI was played around with. So the only way she will convince me is if she obviously sings live and I mean really live not pre recorded live and puts in a good performance.

She has tried a number of shows including the Barrymore one and X Factor but did not get anywhere - certainly would not have survived on X Factor so this is a bit of a slap in the face for the contestants.

I'm feeling more and more supportive of Sting by the moment and there is going to be a big, big backlash against X Factor appearances taking over the charts. But I guess Cowell will laugh all the way to the bank?

I think you're right - I agree, good luck to her. Her market is obviously the US where they seem to adore her, I wouldn't even bother about this country where people have seem to do nothing but slag her off. Saying that, I would have thought the next series of BGT would have been a more appropriate place for SuBo to be a guest, I always imagine X-Factor to be a younger audience.

I'm more underwhelmed by Maria Carey being on to be honest.

Do you think that the X-facter viewer would appreciate Su Bo??

Do they have a different audience in the X-factor studio every week? If they do, it kind of tells you something when a group of people are giving sparse applause to an act that they won't even be there to see themselves. Almost like they were showing some form of solidarity with next weeks audience in having their arse bored off by a slightly deranged woman in a day dress singing "I dreamed a dream".

Next weeks audience could have the last laugh if Susan goes nuts, takes a dump on the stage and smashes the watercooler over Cheryls head.

Shakira banging on a kettle drum won't have much on that by comparison.

I heard her sing live at Wembley on the BGT Live Tour and she wasn't very good, to be honest. And I don't think she does herself any favours by only singing the same song all the time because it makes her vulnerable to 'can't she sing anything else' comments. I know that she's had a go at Memories but it is usually I Dreamed a Dream.

I'll probably listen though, just to see what she's like now.

Susan Boyle isnt my cup of tea, and I dont like the style of music she sings, but to claim anyone who can hit the 10 second rising note at the key change in 'Dreamed a Dream' pretty much spot on with as much power as she did is 'average' is laughable.

I doubt anyone but Joe in the current X factor line up could do it.

I am not bothered either way, bless her she is ok, but for the XFactor to have her as a 'celebrity guest' smacks of them struggling to get high profile artists on the show, who don't have anything to promote.
