I've just been watching Diversity's winning moment to remind myself of a time when Simon didn't get what he wanted - his 'trying to look happy' face is a picture

As a previous poster has said, I would much prefer to see Rhydian - as would many of the X-Factor audience. Apart from anything else, he's one of 'our' own.

I told myself that Simon was grooming him as 'classical genre' and that's why he's unlikely to put him back on X-Factor, but SuBo is not exactly pop is she?

Rhydian has an album to promote too.... but there's probably less in the profit margins than SuBo's (American audience and all).

What else could it be?

Nothing, that's it. SuBo is going to sell gazillions of albums, so she takes precedent. It's a shame, the version of O Fortuna live by Rhydian is fantastic and as one of the show theme tunes, it would have gone down well with the X Factor audience.

I'm not excited about seing her, she only did as well in BGT because shes dog rough, if she was a stunning blonde, she would have been voted out during the first week.

I'm looking forward to seeing Susan... even though it was pre-recorded yesterday because she's over in the States today from what I have read in the paper!

I don't know what she is doing on X Factor Show and on so many other Shows if she has already sold gazillions of album in pre orders?
There is no logic there, is it?
Beside, she is such an average singer that any choir lady can replace her easily.
And she is so boring.
They should bring Rhydian back, his performance of 'O Fortuna', which is the lead track of his second album is out of this world and he is 100% the best singer ever to perform on X Factor stage!

This is the same Diversity that the press now recalls without naming as a "dance act" in stories about the record breaking pre-orders of Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream.

What you ought to be watching is the look on Simon's face now. Nobody's talking about Diversity—they aren't even mentioned in stories about the bill at the upcoming Royal Variety Show. Nobody's making money off them, either.

They pretty much sold out the Hammersmith Apollo, and are drawing great crowds to their shows, like any other successful touring act, why does it need press coverage?

Plus they have quite a few big projects coming up since Sony Entertainment started to promote their shows.

I'm going in early tomorrow to watch her sing live at Rockefeller Centre (where I work). So are all my colleagues. Even hard-hearted New Yorkers are a bit entranced by Susan Boyle.

Boyle will go down in history as the first true Internet superstar. Probably.

What she achieved (especially in the US) via YouTube is a significant cultural moment. Cowell gets to gloat tonight for having brought Boyle to the world.

The Diversity who have performed at the MOBOs, T4 On The Beach, and are performing on the upcoming T4 Stars Of 2009.
Also the Diversity who have just announced their tour; and last time I checked their Twitter they said tickets were almost sold out at most venues.
Do your research before you make out that someone's flopping.

Taken from their Twitter:
Quote:
“So tickets are going crazy! Nearly sold out in most places! Don't miss out! DIVERSITOYS!!!!! Thanks for your support for Mitch! Ashley DV x 4:55 AM Nov 21st from web”

Quote:
“Yo, can't believe tickets nearly sold out 4 the tour! U guys are amazing! If you ain't bought yet, make sure you do today before its 2 late! about 7 hours ago from web”

They're doing extremely well seeing as tickets only went on sale a couple of days ago, and they're the first of this kind of act in Britain.

I really don't get the SuBo phenomena, ok she can sing but why the insane hysteria about her?

If she is going to be tomorrow singing live in NY than again, as many times before, today's performance must be pre-recorded safely in the studio!
Blah, like most of her performances!
What a talent, really!

Not excited either. Shes just like many many singers who sing in choirs etc. Its just because of what she looks like and the shock factor.

However, shes now world famous and properly a millionaire. Nothing against her personally though - she seems a nice enough woman

She's on now. Different type of singer, and she chose better to go on Britain's Got Talent because on this show she'd have been made to sing all kinds of styles that are not suited to her.

There's nothing wrong with the type of music she sings, and she sings it well.

Impressive performance. Treats the song with real respect. I think the album will do well.

Why 'must' she be? She might just be another person who isn't a fan of Susan.
Other people are welcome to like her; buy her CDs etc. It doesn't mean everyone has to.
