No, that was Laila!

Perhaps Lionel mistook Laila for Tess, and pushed her down the stairs.

I still maintain it was Sonia from Eastenders though.

I tried to analyse my first thoughts on seeing the OP - they're not for posting however

While I don't want the likes of Ant and Dec presenting it, Lionel Blair is of the same mould as Brucie and we would have the same argument for his duration.

I agree that Saturday's line up was just right for the show (without RC) and would happily go with that.

(I would however go with Lionel as a judge to replace Len or Bruno or both)

If Lionel replaced Len there would be no one on the panel with true knowledge of ballroom dance.

Its a pity the SCD team did not have Lionel instead of Ronnie. Ronnie corbett is useless in a live situation and can only perform from a well rehearsed script. I bet Lionel would have been excellent with Tess.

Absolutey not!!!! I'd rather have Vernon Kay with Ronnie Corbett doing the Tesspit than that ghastly man.

If Lionel Blair had leant over any more on Saturday night to make sure he was seen by the camera he would have ended up sitting on Ronnie Corbett's lap! That was such a scream!

I read this too quickly and too tiredly as LINDA Blair, and was trying to work out how exactly projectile vomiting, 360 degree head spinning and religious iconography self-defilement would work its way into the format.

if they want camper they can also add Graham Norton or Barrowman to the mix...hopefully none will get the gig if Brucie gives up...but i doubt he wont give it up.

I wouldn't read anything into it at all. He was on ITT last year after all, and actually was quite interesting in what he said about how in order to dance well you needed to feel comfortable with what you were wearing. He was particularly unimpressed about what they had given Cherie Lunghi to wear.

I could actually imagine him filling in quite well for Bruce on a one-off basis, but being the host permanently is a different situation and I don't think he'd be the man for the job. On a one-off basis I think you'd see him quite reined in, on a permanent basis you wouldn't be able to keep him quiet.
