Surely thee is no problem with any of this ?
A doctor told Jade she should not dance , therefore she gets a bye FOR ONE WEEK ONLY . A doctor told Laila it was her decision , he did not declare her unfit .If she had chosen not to dance she would have been out anyway , so it was obviously necessary to take the risk , Which they did . I agree she certainly got the sympathy vote ; I would guess she came top of the public vote possibly taking much of certainly Phil's vote as mnay will have thought him safe . Was it planned ? I personally doubt it . She looked in pain , however it is possible to walk and a dance on sprained ankles. It could have been better supported and hopefully it was liberally sprayed with pain killer . She could have had a pain killing injection , which often keeps sportsmen going through matches etc . I wonder if much of this theorising , on here anyway , is fuelled by the VT shown on ITT of them inventing excuses to get out of the show.

He X-ray'd it did he.. with his mobile phone?
She could have had a hairline fracture. The question is "fit to dance" Obviously Laila wasn't. Let's agree to disagree, I ain't going to debate it. |

during the VT on the show on Saturday Laila was seen in a taxi going to the hospital where presumably she had an xray....and its nothing to do with pain you can dance through pain. I am pretty sure that its not a case of the doctors saying YOU CAN DANCE SO JUST GET ON WITH IT LAILA YOU WIMP its done through discussion and assessment of pain and risk of further damage. with the risk of further damage being the main difference between Jade and Laila.

I still see no evidence that Laila would have been out had she chosen not to dance

![]() The only thing that makes me wonder is they haven't actually said 'it was her choice to dance otherwise she would also have received a bye to the next week'. They just keep saying 'it was her choice to dance or not'. It's almost adds up to the same thing but not quite. Maybe it's just me ![]()

I don't think it is clear and I think the Beeb are leaving it that way in case another situation arises and they have to change their minds.

![]() Claudia was quite clear about the fact that you only are allowed a week off , a bye to the next round , IF a doctor has said you cannot dance and then only one week. Laila had to choose whether to dance or not . Presumably not dancing would mean she was the one out that week , or possibly that she had 0 , came bottom and had to rely on the public vote |
