Has anyone noticed that when you want to record a BBC program through the guide the window that normally pops up asking you whether you want to record the SD or HD version hasn't appeared since last week? (It may have appeared with the odd program - i can't remember). I started noticing it last week (before the latest firmware update) when i tried to program Topgear in on Sunday. The SD/HD window did not pop up but the option to series record did. It's the same with Children in Need programs this week. Anyone with the same problem?

Its working here i just set "life" to record at 9pm, have you done a factory reset since upgrading software?

That's bad EPG data that has caused that... see my other thread on "What HAS the Beeb done to it's EPG info??!!"

Just set it up on whichever you want BBCHD or BBC till BBC gets its act together and hope it records

Yes, I've just done a reasonable sample for next week, although not all HD progs, and they've coded them all up with different Prog CRIDs.

I can feel a complaint coming on, but I hate that complaints form on their site Still, they need to know about it, and the more that complain, then they may listen.

Well, I don't know if it was my complaint that triggered it, or not, but on a quick sampling of BBC1/2 progs with an HD AI, the Prog CRIDs are now the same, and the AI is offered, and also shown in the programme Info.

Let's hope it stays this way, and whilst they are at it, sort out the Region Issue.
