BT unlimited use for extra £5 a month

Saw the advert advertising free calls to UK landlines for a fiver a month. Thought it was an okay deal and went online to get it. What the ad doesn;t tell you is that you are signing a 12 month contract for it which is then renewed by another year at the end of that term (unless you cancel it).

What a pain in the arse. I would never remember when the time period is up and with all the new service deals on the hori\on I guess I'm not gonna go for it right now.

I use Googlemail calendar to remind me of all the family birthdays etc. It sends me an email every year for every one (I set them up for 14 days before the due date so that have time to buy a card, at least).

It's handy for meter reading, car insurance, MOT reminders and so on too.

The BT site quotes the rolling contract deal on the unlimited evening and weekend plan, but the 'Anytime' £4.95 deal
doesnt, I dont think it has a rolling contract, just a 12 month minimum term
