Actually, I think it's something to do with your nearest messaging centre or something because on my phone it says "Northolt" while i'm at home in London and in Devon it says "Llandaff".... so your messages have to go via somewhere that's probably miles away before they go to the person's phone!

The first date has changed again. Its weird, because the dates and times all correspond when I am at work ,where the Vodafone signal is poor, maybe thats got something to do with it??

Yeh that's right. So when you last switched your phone on or came out of a no signal area, but not when you last moved from one cell to another.

I used this the other day to prove how long i'd been waiting for someone after i got off the tube.

I use *#103# quite frequently to get the time on my phone if I've forgotten to put my watch on. I would use the clock function of my phone but it's not very accurate at all. *#147# gets used a fair bit as well.

CS:44385018020 - This is the circuit switched number used by Vodafone - p.s You cannot call this number.

VF-Willenhall - Exchange you are currently logged on. Its a name not the location of the exchange

REGISTERED - Your status

28-FEB-2004 15:39:00 - Date and time last registered

PS:447785012102 - Packet switched number - GPRS etc
CGSNSD1 - Packet Switch
REGISTERED -Your Status
6-MAR-2004 14:53:36 - Dat and time registered

How do I know this information??? I work for Vodafone on the network. The *100# codes are for Ericsson exchange equipment which Vodafone use. Other networks use Motorola, Nokia and Alcatel which do not use these codes. They may use something else but not that I know of.

Hope this of some help.

Jason.
