Joe said strictly is fixed because of something he said to producers, it has got to be pretty strong words if he thinks he was booted off because of it!

Oh Joe... you're as deluded as Craig!! Every series has shown that bad dancers get support only so far and then it goes. Perhaps he should think of his girlfriend a bit more before throwing around accusations that the programme she works for is fixed.

For me it will be one of the enduring mysteries of Strictly why anyone voted for this plank.

My first thought as well Erinfan - doesn't do to P*** off your employers.

Joe did well to stay 5 weeks, maybe he doesn't have i-player and ever watched himself.....

I've watched every series of strictly and I don't disagree really with whoever has won it; maybe of the last two or three I might havethought one was better than the other, but that's a lot to do with personality as well.

I think if Zoe had said it then possibly at least she was a good dancer but Joe? Aww c'mon big man surely you don't think you should have won?

And hopefully it wasn't something against Craig as I'm not being funny but even woodentop was slightly better than Joe!!

It always happens - since the real competitions started people move from most fave to not fave at all when they start to outstay their welcome. Only one to buck the trend was Julian but he is a really really lovely person and people just wanted to see him every week.

Joe's just a bitter loser. It wont do him any good unless he learns to keep his mouth shut. Does he really think he was good at dancing to stay in longer? If he did, then he's as deluded as Craig!

Deluded and an ungracious loser. I hardly think that this is going to gain him many friends (apart from some in the Daily Mail).

Perhaps as he thinks it is a fix, he should withdraw from the group dance that they normally have in the Christmas show?

Er....

a) Am a bit confused as I got the impression him and Craig were friends.
b) Does he not grasp that the public vote can change significantly from one week to the next?
c) Does he not grasp that even with a relatively high public vote you can still end up in the bottom two if you have extrememly low marks (in his case....extremeley low).

Joe went out because Wales were playing rugby that night. Without the Welsh vote he had nothing.

Joe Calzaghe has to be one of SCD's worst contestants ever. He was completely void of charm, humility and personality.

I take it that he hasn't been invited to join the live tour then!

What a hoot - Joe Calzaghe was a terrible dancer and if genuinely thought he should win Strictly then he needs to go on medication immediately.

I flipping hope so - god I had such high hopes for him before it started

What doesn't he get - Fiona Phillips and Kate Garroway stayed a similar number of weeks, then dropped into the bottom two and were gone - Joe wasn't funny enough or charming enough to make it any further, he was dreadful, it was painful to watch him - seriously, what doesn't he get

He probably said nothing worse than a lot of people on here were saying and thinking about the poor, deluded chap.

I like Joe Calzaghe the boxer, but away from the ring he's got absolutely nothing about him His constant pouting, and cringeworthy shadow-boxing routine whenever the camera was on him became annoying VERY quickly.

I very much doubt the producers fixed the result. They wouldn't dare after all the recent BBC scandals, and general phone-vote fix allegations. Joe needs to realise that people got bored of him, and that he simply wasn't very good.

Clearly Joe hasn't seen the show before.

He was saved every week he was at the bottom of the leaderboard because people felt sorry for him. Then, he showed a little improvement came off the bottom and the sympathy voters lost interest in him/thought he didn't need their help any more.

Happens every year!

And I'm a little bit suspect about the producers allegedly telling him they had the highest votes every week. I didn't think they'd reveal that info to anyone in case someone opened their mouth...

Was he really that popular that he would top the public vote?

What a sore loser.

Note to Joe: See Tuffers on ITT for 'gracious in defeat'.

If anyone has the right to be bitter it's Phil. It was obvious to me that he was a much better dancer than Ricky G, Laila, Chris, and Natalie and he has been very gracious in defeat. He played down the operation on his knee and never made a big fuss about it (unlike some of the other contestants and their injuries). However, the best dancer always wins.

I'm really disappointed in Joe for saying this. Just makes him look ridiculous. It is possible that one week early on he got more votes than anyone else, out of pity, and probably people are saying to him, 'Sorry you're out,' from politeness, but it's obvious there was no great feeling of sadness from the viewers when he went. He never looked like he was enjoying it, I'm amazed he isn't just glad to be off.

I also think though, going on lots of the comments from celebs, this series and before, that some of the pros boost the celebs confidence by telling them they're better than they are. You could hear Kristina in the tiny bits of training telling him way over the top praise about his natural ability. It's understandable, to try and motivate them, but it's also a mistake, imo. It opens the celebs up to looking idiots if they repeat it.

I was really looking forward to supporting Joe on SCD before it started. I never thought less of him for dancing badly or for getting involved with Kristina. But this, Joe, if you said it, I think a lot less of you for this.

I agree that the producers would not dare to 'fix' the vote but I do think they sometimes try and manipulate it. Ramprakash v Emma the Spice Girl springs to mind. The 'behind the scenes' clips often showed Ramprakash struggling and moody, but the Spice Girl was always shown bubbly and joking and even visiting sick children in hospital!!

And there I was, thinking Joe was the winner of SCD. After all he got the biggest prize, the delectable Kristina. Wasn't that enough for our pugilist friend?
Bad loser is an understatement in this case.

I do think the producers deliberately ignored Joe and Kristina's romance (No mention whatsoever on Strictly) to prevent them gaining any popularlity from it, but they could equally have been doing it to protect Kristina, as she was already getting a lot of derogatory remarks in the tabloids.

Can't get over his fix comments. Sorry Joe, no way!! The idea that it was a 'controversially early departure' is both hilarious and cringeworthy.

Absolutely. They've been doing it since the show started. Most of the VT footage is clearly edited/manipulated to an agenda. I sometimes feel the poor couples are just pawns really.

As for Joe, he's just a sore loser - shame really.

It is, frankly, idiotic to suggest that SCD would or could be fixed now given all the furore over deceiving the public on both BBC and ITV. There is no just no way that this would even be contemplated.

However, I think we seem to be forgetting the source of this story: the BBC's arch enemy, The Daily Heil. Their grasp of the facts when it comes to anything BBC-related is tenuous, to say the least.

Joe hardly has anything to gain from saying anything like this. The Daily Heil, however, gets to rubbish one of the BBC's flagship titles. Again. BINGO!

So what really happened? Was Joe tricked into saying something that could then be taken out of context? Did he even say anything he's quoted as saying?

I think we should take all this with a rather large pinch of salt ...

In the meantime, Joe better watch out for Kristina's right hook ...

I do wonder if she beeb kinda bigged her up because they were grateful for having someone who was actually a real star for once. I think she may have been overmarked for the same reasons. She seems like a nice person so I don't hold against her although it probably means I don't give her the credit she does deserve as a dancer due to being over-marked although I did love her tango.

As for the original discussion - oh dear! there seem to be a few blokes this year who have no idea how bad their dancing actually was - Rav, Craig and no Joe - I could make a sisterhood comments about it always being blokes but Jan Ravens and to a lesser extent because she didn't suck as much Patsy Palmer suffered from similar delusions of grandeur and I'm starting to suspect Nat Cass is developing them too. Joe I think you were voted off because paradoxically you came off the bottom of the leaderboard and Craig Kelly was there meaning he got the sympathy vote especially since it's a debatable point whom was the worse (my money would be on you mate at least Craig didn't look a dancing robot on one point)- you may have been a tad over-marked actually during jive week. There's no conspiracy here.
