Why is Jimmy still the bookies Fave? Shouldn't it be Kim or Gino???

I don't understand how Jimmy White is the fave.

I would of put after 2 shows - 4 or 5 people at least ahead of him in terms of more likely to win.

Frontrunners in betting should be -

Kim
Gino

Then

Sam

Lucy

George

Katie (Due to high profile) more likely to turn it around and win than Jimmy.

Then maybe Jimmy - even though Colin and Justin have been more entertaining.

Completely agree. I am baffled as to how he is currently favourite. I can see two clear front runners at the moment in Kim and Gino. Sam seems to be a lovely woman as well and Lucy may be in for a chance at queen of the jungle. Really don't understand how he is favourite at all.

It's still early days yet and even though Kim is great fun I think she will start becoming a bit of a pain. We haven't seen much of Jimmy yet but from what I know of him he comes across as a really down to earth funny guy

He made me laugh last night when that girl was having a melt down an he said "poor cow".

Think it's to early to judge anyone properly yet

I agree with Ciawoman. Jimmy hasn't been given much air time yet, they've concentrated on Sam and Gino in the first episode and Kim and Katie in the second. I'm sure once everyone has settled down a bit Jimmy will feature a bit more. He's got a great dry sense of humour so I hope they show him more than they have so far.
After only 2 days it's a bit early to be thinking of favourites.

But i'm talking it terms of betting odds. His odds should of drifted out quite a bit by now.

I really don't think Jimmy is a good bet - especially at those odds.

I'm just happy I put £200 on Gino to win and £150 on Kim Woodburn at virtually double the odds they are both at now. As they 2 really look good at the moment for the final.

The bookies don't have any insider info, they don't know anymore than we do. All they can see is how much money is placed on a certain person. So for some reason people must be betting on Jimmy White. Also, for these shows they tend to copy eachothers odds, so if one bookie has someone as a fav you'll notice they'll be favourites with all the bookies.

It's too early in the show, it can go anyway at this stage. But towards the end that's when it gets interesting because the favourites with the bookies is obviously the one with the most money on them / most public support

I wouldn't be putting money on Jimmy white just yet. And don't think Katie Price will win. Think she'll stay in for a bit but wont win. I'm going to put some money on Gino

I use this site all the time to check the odds for reality shows

Jimmy never wins, he's a much better bet for runner-up

*Waits for Steve Davis or Stephen Hendry to join the show*

Jimmy will (or could) attract the 'everyman' vote, an image that is always popular on these types of show. I remember him from the 80's, and he's always seemed very down to earth and affable, and quite witty too. Also, especially given the fame and adulation he's had in his career, he's remarkably free of airs and graces.

Obviously, a lot depends on how he copes in there, and how much they show of him but, given what I've seen of his character down the years, it's hardly surprising that folk see him as a fav to win.

Kim is a pain. I like Gino though. Jimmy hasnt had a chance to shine yet, its early days.
