The reason my reaction was strong is because I guess I'm a little hyper sensitive after following American politics lately. Things over there have calemd down for the moment but it still worries me some.

I liked Janice Dickinson's 'why does she have a beak?' comment. Ok, Janice is one to talk but she owns up to her surgery and knows when to stop. I know Katie owns up to her surgery too but she clearly doesn't know when to stop. Its sad because its got to the stage of actually looking like a cartoon character.
I dont find the use of the word itself offensive, I know it as an advertising toy/character, I was brought up with it and never once thought about it being an assimily of any particular group of people or race.
