Hi,

I have the above amp and at 13 months, I had an electric surge and the amp stopped working.

At that time I took it to Richer Sounds (the original suppliers) and they fixed it for me. They said it just needed to be reset and did not charge me. So I got good service from them then.

Now a couple of years down it seems to have happened again.

Does anyone know how to do the aforementioned reset?

Or shall I try my luck at Richer Sounds again?

Erm..... good question.

Upon checking the operating manual , there is a section on resetting to factory defaults.

I never got a chance to try it out though. I had disconnected the mains for a week and when I reconnected it was all fine again.

The problem description was that after the power surge, it would not turn on at all. Doing a factory reset via the remote I would not think would work?
