If you've ever watched "I'm a Celeb...." i think you can be under no doubt how tough it can be in there.......if you don't know you haven't done your research properly

The main thing is Camillas out and hopefully on the mend from whatever forced her out in the first place

I think it was an acute case of "I don't really want to do this, but I'm going to receive a nice cash injection anyway. Hooray!". I think she'll survive.

Judging by the last shot I saw of Camilla she couldn't raise a 'Hooray' if her life depended on it. She looked like a bloody corpse and I'd dearly like to know what prat on their medical team passed her as fit to carry on and she had to decide to walk away herself...Keep walking Cam, as far away from this **** as you can.

I don't think she should have gone in, she seems much too delicate for that sort of thing and I felt really sorry for her on last night's show.

I don't understand why anyone would want to go into "I'm a Celebrity" in the first place. A truly vile show - fancy wanting to have grubs, mealies, worms and suchlike showered on you from a great height or being buried with a load of rats; and having to do the Bush Tucker Trials, swimming with crocodiles etc. etc. etc. No amount of money would ever induce me to watch it let alone be in it. I learnt my lesson after the first series.

Thank goodness Camilla has come out - but Katie Price deserves to be in there - she's do anything for publicity.

Camilla doesn't seem all that different to Katie. She had a "fauxmance" with James a few years ago and she's been engaged about 10 times now. Going on "I'm a Zleb" has rather shown her true colours; Not only is she fame-hungry, but she's also unethical.

I agree. Such a weird choice for Camilla.

My guess is that normally she grazes on food throughout the day to keep her blood sugar level and energy levels high so she be healthy and very active, so if she stopped doing that suddenly she'd be feeling pretty awful.

Cazzz, Camilla is to be GMTV's new "Ms Motivator", so it's a fitness 'thingy'.

Considering what time breakfast TV presenters have to get up, they'd better have a shedload of muesli and bananas plus a gallon of smoothies ready for her at that studio!

I think Camilla is very different to Katie. She has a talent (dancing) which she has used to make money for the majority of her life so far. She hasn't resorted to surgery to change her looks, and she has only been on a couple of reality shows other than Strictly.

She has been engaged only 3 times; the first was after a very long-term relationship, where she had to break it off due to an alleged affair. The second wasn't as long, but also a long-term relationship (which had no associated press publicity), and this one looks like it's going to end in a wedding. So it's hardly a string of fickle engagements!

How exactly is she unethical?


I do wonder why she did it if she knew she needed food so frequently. She must have known rations would be tight.

TBH I don't know much about the show, so I can't really say, but are do you mean they don't get much to eat when they are in the jungle, or they have to catch their food to eat or something?

I am glad Cam is out of there and dont quite understand why she did it in the first place unless it was financial.

I dont understand all the remarks about her being 'frail' (Tom Chambers) and not strong enough.......she is a professional dancer who has kept up a punishing round of dancing engagements for several years, yes she is very slim, but she must be strong and fit.

Kevin says she was advised to leave by a doctor 'for her health' do they not get medicals before they go in. It was dealt with most oddly on the show....one minute she was there and the next she was gone. !!

Those who did the first series of I'm a celeb didn't know what they were letting themselves in for; everyone who has done the show since would have been more than aware of how the thing works, and unless they were very stupid, they should know if they had some chance of hacking it.

In a couple of articles Camilla is alleged to have said the show had become 'all about Katie' .... Would she have preferred it to be 'all about Camilla', and forced to do 3 god-awful trials in a row? (Secrectly, bet the rest of the celebs are saying God-bless Katie!!!!!)

I think Camilla may have been advised to withdraw for health reasons, but those health issues were most likely brought on by sheer panic, and fear at what she had let herself in for, and frankly she just couldn't handle it.



On another note - in answer to something said previously, no one can force someone else to take part in reality shows. They can ask, they can beg, but they cannot FORCE!

I'm not too sure but I think they get one meal for every star they win in the bushtrucker trials (where one celeb gets voted to do a horrible activity usually involving eating bugs and spider or animal balls, or being in a tank/pool with creepy crawlies). So if the celeb wins four stars, they will get four meals, even if there are 12 people in camp.

I guess they get basic rations like rice too, but not sure. Also not sure what these "meals" they win consist of either.

I would certainly avoid the show like the plague while that vile woman is still around. I would tune in if there was any chance she might be fed to the crocs.
As for Camilla, I would imagine she has already lost a lot of public respect for agreeing to appear on the show. Imagine agreeing to do that for £50,000 knowing that talentless Chav Katie is being paid £350,000. Even I would turn it down, and I probably need the money more than Camilla !

How does having surgery make someone a bad person? Camilla is clearly publicity-hungry. She has a talent, but she'd prefer to date famous people and take part in reality shows. She's unethical because she's going to take the money after just a few days of being in the jungle. Anyone with a bit of wit would know that a spell in the jungle wouldn't be easy, and I don't think she's that naive.

I'm not sure that she'll get all the money. If she walked out, she will only get paid for the four days she was in there. If she was pulled out by the producers on health grounds then she will get the full amount, but I'm very surprised they let her go in in the first place as she is so slender and has no reserves of fat to cope with the restricted rations in the jungle. It must have been obvious to any doctor that she wouldn't be able to cope.

I saw a paper headline which stated that Camilla was driven out of the jungle by and I quote "that cow Katie Price".

Most of the time I don't believe what is reported - but this - yes I do. KP is an attention-seeking nightmare and for that reason alone I will not watch the show, another reason I think the whole show is vile and it is hosted by a pair of idiots called Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

That woman will do anything, and I mean anything, to keep her name in the headlines and apparently she wants Peter Andre to fall back in love with her and this is the reason she went in in the first place. Yeah - right - more like to make him jealous. She left her sick son (wonderful mother that she is) to go in the jungle again.

I hope an alligator gets her if that is the real reason why Camilla left.

Well, I haven't watched any of it, but I read she was waking up in the night with a fever - you can't fake a high temperature, not with cameras on you all the time, so it will be quite easy for them to tell if she's ill or not. There are always winners and losers with any reality TV show. Presumably she went on to look fit and up for anything, to support her GMTV fitness job, and it's now going to make people see her as frail and unwell.

I struggle to believe Camilla would publicly call anyone a cow in an interview. I think the papers want to make it all about Jordan, so I won't believe that quote unless I see film of her saying it.

All the SCD pros look for ways of branching out from the show. I think that's natural. It's tough for them as they get older. I'm not watching 'Jungle' but I'm sorry it hasn't worked out for Camilla and I hope she's out so soon that everyone will forget she was ever on.

I remember one of the contestants on a Castaway type program, who was a male model.
He arrived on the show, all muscle and no fat. He got the same rations as the others, some of whom were half his weight.
When your body is being starved, it eats your fat reserves. If you have no fat, it eats your muscles, which in the case of this guy, left him weak and in constant pain. The other contestants couldn't understand what he was once in tears about, because they had fat to burn.

Camilla would have had to fatten up for weeks before the show. Her metabolic rate would slow down when she was getting little food, but that's when having fat becomes essential.

I am amazed that Camilla left the jungle after only three days. Surely she has watched I'm a Celeb before and had some idea of what she was letting herself in for. How could she be so exhausted after only THREE DAYS. She is a fit dancer, she dances every day of her life and I cannot believe she could be so unfit. She made an amazing recovery soon after landing in the five star hotel!!LOL I believe she is the new Fitness Expert for GMTV and wants to get into TV presenting, I think she has rather shot herself in the foot now. Surely she would have to return some of her fee for leaving the show so early. If not, it is incredible that anyone could earn 50 thousand for three days work!!!!

In that case, it wouldn't have been long enough to be fat reserve related.
